It is relative to the team chemistry, design and leadership at the time of analysis. "Winning" is success.
I seem to recall the Patriots being a "winning" organization.
Bill Belichick has had 1 losing season since becoming the Patriots HC: his first season. Outside of that year, he's only had 1 non-double digit winning season; he was 9-7 that year.
How many assistants has he gone through since then? How many players?
Who hired him?
So, he is the exception, right? So what you are really saying is of all 32 teams, players, coaches and FO staffs.... only 1 combination was possible to succeed? No.
Each year another team wins the SB, that team figured out their formula. But did they stick to it?
Was Brady born great or did Belichick make him great?
Again, there's that mentality. There's only a few who can win? That's what I'm hearing. I gave an example of how one team has become a winner. There have been many winners in this league. But until you change your mindset and believe you CAN win, nothing changes.
What we have hear are proven losers. And it starts at the top. Blow it up.
