Can we please talk about something other than the Jets at this point. Aside from the Pats game which I hope they win again, there isn't much more to say this year. Although it's fun to go back and forth about them, we won't see this team again till next year and we have Carolina to play on a short week.

I'm of course delighted that their lardazz inbred HC and bigmouths like Scott and Rhodes are being ostracized for over-promising while under-delivering, and enjoy observing all but the most brain-dead former pie-in-the-skyers on JI and TGG finally getting sprayed down with a crow-sized serving of reality. I respect Junc and feel that he provides a good presence on this board. I would suggest that many of the posters in this thread feel the same way. You're right, the Jets are an afterthought at this point. We have bigger fish to fry.

I don't think we are at the point where we have a lot to brag about as a team but we did sweep an organization whose team & fan base wrote us off as insignificant. With that in mind, I see nothing wrong with a little good natured ribbing. I also understand that as good as beating the Jets twice felt we still have ways to go before we can consider ourselves an upper echelon team.....

What am I bitter about? I'm annoyed we lost but that doesn't acrry over to today. You guys are celebrating like you won a SB and forgetting that we have the same record. if your goal is to beat us missiona accomplished but I'd rather get to the playoffs.

I don't even think I've seen a single positive post about beating TB by 2 points yesterday. If that's what it's like to 'celebrate winning a SB', then I guess the Phins/Jets haven't missed anything in 30 years.
