Dolphins Bucs Postponed until Week 11

Some perspective on the players being home with their families in unsettling times like these.

Also means Miami can add a vet on a non-guaranteed contract on Monday and still have a few days to get them up to speed before game one.

Best possible decision for mine...we were slight favorites with home advantage to beat Tampa.....we would not have been favorites at a neutral venue....especially with their good pre-season.....and ours less so!

Extra time to prepare for Chargers....and game footage when they have nothing on us....especially with a new quarterback....they wont have much of an idea what's coming.

Chargers better be ready!...Irma will be gone......but there's a storrrrm coming mofo's...and it's had two weeks to build!

The players do. Their wives do. An NFL game is akin to a car crash every week. They look forward to that bye week. As one Bucs wife already tweeted her husband always looks forward to that bye week because his body is shot by then. It's player safety and health. A neutral site could've been done with 3-5 days notice. But they lose ticket sales.

Bingo.

Let's just hope that we can play at Hard Rock on Oct. 1st, or for that matter this season.

People keep saying how the team could have just have established a neutral site in 3 to 5 days, but the logistics of leasing a stadium, hiring staff, getting everything ready is a lot harder than people think. Try moving a wedding party from one location to another in 2 or 3 days and it's hell and chaos. Imagine moving a sporting event at the last minute. I'm not saying it can't be done or hasn't been done, but it not as easy as people seem to think. It's not a case of just saying "Hey Atlanta we're using your stadium this week." deal done.
