MERGED 103x: Bills coach Mularkey Quits

The Bills next head coach will be Defensive CoOrdinator of the Bears, Ron Rivera. Ron Rivera and Marv Levy are friends. Levy did a Bears show while living in Chicago and thinks very highly of Rivera.

 I love this. The Bills franchise is falling apart. Mularkey is a smart man to get away from that joke of a team.

Are you kidding? Mularkey was like Wanny to us. We wanted him to leave. Why would you be laughing when the guy that kept calling passes up 3 td's in Miami is leaving?

Ron Rivera will be a good coach here.

Damnit, first Herm and now Mularkey gone. This is only making the AFC East stronger for the future.

He was the coach for only two years. Noway he ever reached Wanny status.

Also, don't get your hopes too high that you will hire a good coach. Like DolphinDevil28 said, there are no coaches out there with the quality like Saban. Most likely you will be going after a failure like Haslett or Tice. Buffalo is known to attract those types of coaches and players.

its final on espn news he just resigned good riddins i never liked him anyways

MULARKEY OUT . . . HAZ IN?

Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports that Bills coach Mike Mularkey has quit as the team's head coach. Glazer says that Mularkey made the decision on Wednesday.

The leading candidate to replace Mularkey is former Saints coach Jim Haslett. Haslett played linebacker for the Bills, and was voted to the Pro Bowl in 1980 and 1981.

Haslett recently has interviewed for head coaching vacancies with the Lions and the Jets

..thats from PFT.that would be great if haslett got the bills gig and tice gets the jets job
