Long answer: there are too many teams with QB needs drafting ahead of us. Oakland, Detroit, and the Redskins, for example. If Oakland passes on a QB (which is likely... come on, it's Oakland), Detroit won't, and Washington sure as heck will not.

Anyone think JaMarcus Russell would be available with the 9th pick in the draft? The guy has a CANNON of an arm and seems to have some good accuracy. I would think that he wont be available at nine, so we would have to trade up to get him. This is possibly our best chance in a while to land a quality player with a top 10 pick, so if it takes a pick and/or player to move up and land a stud like Russell, Johnson etc., I say we do it.
