wow...what a way of forecasting stats...the reverse must then be true. 0 interceptions in the first 4 games translates into 0 for the year ?

The man had 12 INTs in 6 full games, 12 is not a good full season total and it's safe to assume he would thrown at least a few more.

So how do you get from that that Daunte's success was MOSTLY Moss??? Just bad at math or are you seeing what you want to see, as opposed to the truth?

Yeah b/c defenses never worry about Moss and just single cover him so what a great job by daunte to find the always doubled and sometimes tripled Nate Burleson:lol: Moss was responsible for Daunte's #s whether it was ctaching it or as a decoy. Any team w/ Moss will have plenty of open receivers around him b/c D's have to pay so much attention to Randy doubling him and rolling another DB to his side. It makes life very easy for a QB.

And Duante was also on pace to be sacked 79 times with the team rushing for 1341 yards, 376 yds from Duante. The team was still trying to run the same offense in 2005 as in 2004.

In 7 games Daunte was sacked 31 times, in 9 games Brd Johnson was sacked 23 times. That tells me it wasn't all the OL. In 78 more passing attempts BJ had 4 INTs while Daunte had 12 while BJ threw for 12 TDs compared to 6 for Daunte and BJ had an 89 rating compared to 72 for Daunte AND most importantly BJ was 7-2 while Daunte was 2-5.

His first 2 games were really bad games this past year...Take those away and he had a 65% completion ratio, a 7.5 YPA, 6 TDs, 4 INTs, a QBR of 90.41% (not the typical high 90's or 100's he has had the last few years)...

Actually he only had 2 good games and only 3 good ratings but one of them was a 3 for 4 performance in the game he got hurt. other than a 140 rating against NO and a 123 against GB he posted ratings of 49, 36, 74 and 50. He was atrocious.

Edit- Another QB by the name of Pennington had a 91 QBR in 2004, by your analysis he was atrocious also...

Chad led his team to w/in a makeable kick of the AFC Title Game.
