That right there should tell you that they aren't thinking about rebuilding. That doesn't mean that they are thinking Superbowl either, what it says is that they evaluated the team, they got rid of the players that they felt were not getting the job done and now they are going to try and replace them to make the Phins a competitive team. Thinking otherwise is silly.

no, that statement is what's pathetic... "we" just want him to have a chance to play uninjured before throwing him away losing all the investments you were just whining about.

Oh absolutely. And if they decide to carry 4 Qb's (like they have in the past), all the better. Competition is always a good thing.

We also just want to have a conversation without all of the name calling and insults. It's okay to disagree, but why some of you attack a person (a fellow Phin fan at that) who has a differing view is mind boggling.

who did we release from last years roster that would be considered major on any front.

mcmichael...no
any O line guy....no
harrington....no


We aren't rebuilding... if we were you would have no problem distinguishing that fact.
 
I just don't see any negatives in bringing Carr in...

He still has upside to him...Trent at 37 is in the twightlight of his career(although I still think he can be a solid game manager for us if protected, but that's a big IF).

And Carr won't be Joey Harrington part 2, because he won't cost 1 red cent of draft compensation.

Again, can't see any negatives with brining in Carr to compete with Culpepper. Sign him up to a loaded incentive laden deal and see what the young boY can do!....At Fresno State he was the bizness...Wasn't drafted number 1 for nothing. Cam/Randy get err done.

Thats exaclty why we want him to succeed. We want to recoup some of that money in the form of giving us the best chance to win. If DC comes into camp healthy, learns the system, and performs well, do you still wanna cut him? I mean we are basing our lobbying for Green on his stats from the last 3 to 4 years and his knowledge of Cam's system but he also has a questionable injury status. So for all the peeps wanting Green at camp should be cheering for DC aswell. Cause in the end, we all want to win and have the best available person at QB be it DC, Green, Carr, Lemon or the Fed-Ex delivery guy.
