Why not? If he isnt the top scorer on the Bobcats it will be a suprise to most. He will get the most possession time and shot attempts. The only question is if he can make them.....I havnt seen many people slow him down yet.

Rookies just dont score 20 ppg

Carmello didnt, Wade didnt, Lebron did barely I think

And he isnt even close to the level of those guys

Actually rookies do score 20 ppg

Lebron scored 20.9 ppg his rookie season
Carmello Anthony scored 21 ppg his rookie season
Elton Brand scored 20.1 ppg his rookie season
Tim Duncan scored 21.1 ppg his rookie season

Thought he scored 18 or something like that

Either way though Morrison isnt on the level of any of those guys, He just isnt

Right now yeah I agree with that but honestly morrison is on the level of those guys when they entered the league...why they were all rookies

No, Carmelo had a better ppg average than Lebron James, but Lebron still got rookie of the year. It was a tight match up for that title.

Should have determined "Rookie of the Year" after the playoffs, because Dwyane Wade brokethrough in the 2003-2004 playoffs. Amazing how Wade gets better every playoff season.

Yeah but some guys are just more talented even as rookies

Lebron and Duncan especially

Brand and Carmello were just a tiny notch above Morrison

Its just hard for rookies to score 20 ppg, Im not saying its impossible or he cant, I just dont think he WILL

Id predict between 15 and 17 ppg this year for Morrison
