My team however is no where near the playoff race but that has alot to do with okafor before out for the whole season and sean may

Mays gonna be a great 10-12ppg player off the bench next year subbing in for okafor, If the bobcats can get a sg or someone to pose a threat on the offensive side other then wallace we might have a shot

PG Brevin Knight
SG Adam Morrison or Brandon Roy
SF Gerald Wallace
PF Emeka Okafor
C Primoz Brezic
Bench - Raymond Felton
Bench - Sean May

Something I'd love to do in the draft is somehow trade down a couple spots and maybe pickup an extra pick somewhere and grab Brandon Roy SG out of Washington who has quicker feet then morrison. Doesnt have nearly as good as a scorers mentality...but would be a better sg prospect in the nba. Morrison is going to have to most likely play SF at 6''8 and add a good 20 lbs solid muscle

Or If the bobcats can manage to get one of these players in the draft they should be fine barring injury

Adam Morrison [Best Scorer last year...needs to work on his defense and his slow feet]
Brandon Roy [Simple one of the best players in the country last year and can do everything]
JJ Redick [Needs to add weight but his 3 point shooting skills are amazing]
Rudy Gay [Athletic Enough to maybe make the transition to SG...6''9 SG wow]
Rudy Fernandez [Foreign Player supposed to be more complete then manu ginoboli was coming to the nba, 6''6 175 lbs. The only knack on the kid is his weight which people believe will severely kill him in the nba, Everything else is ace about this kid]

hmm adam morrison.... good scorer but can't play defense then again he should fit in perfect with the rest of the nba because none of them play defense either lol.

JJ Redick will never be a star in the nba and he's got alot hype being from Duke. Probably a very good player off the bench.

Rudy Gay is the most overrated player in the country period. Can't gaurd a chair, isn't dominate on offense, saves himself for one highlight dunk that makes it on espn which is why everyone thinks he's sooooo good but really he's a bust for uconn see IMO lets see if he decides to work in the nba.

Redick will never lose his ability to hit 3 pointers one thing that makes him stick out from all the other duke busts.

Rudy Gay is not overrated he just needs to mature...when the kids on ask anyone on the court if they want to guard him or be guarded by him.

6''9 220 lb SG would be awesome though

Ouch horrible foul on Alan Anderson...just came up and slapped the crap out of vince carter on a 3

Carters going to the line for Three FT's now, Makes 2-3 FT

Carter comes back and fouls Felton

Felton goes to the line, goes 1-2 on FTs

Jefferson rebounds and felton fouls right away

Right now score is 45-47 the nets up by two

and Felton has 6 points and 6 assists

on the opposite side Jefferson has 13 points and 5 rebounds

Nets up right now 70-64

Jason Kidd just threw up a beauty of an alley oop dunk to carter

Kidd now has 8 points, 10 assists, and 7 rebounds in the 3rd

This would give him the lead for triple doubles for the year if he gets it tonight

EDIT: Kidd now has 11 points, 10 assists, and 8 rebounds in the 3rd

Nets up 75-70

You team has the same problem as mine. The stars of the team can't stay leahty long enough to make a big impact. T-Mac and Yao both has combined to miss about 50 something games now and we only won like 5 without T-Mac. Yao has came out of no where and is just tearing the place up. I hope this continues into next season and hopefully T-mac will be ready aswell. Once we get ourselves a good bench and a good SG, then I think we should be fine.

Honestly the rockets have 2 big holes imo

PG [Alston is a better bench player...cant run the floor and makes too many mistakes, I dont care about his 6+ assists] I heard there very interested in Dee Brown in this up and coming draft...that would be a huge addition

PF [You have no big man attack outside of yao...maybe draft shelden williams in the lottery this year]

Alston can be a good PG if he wants to be. From what I've seen of him during games, he can control the offense and he feeds Yao the ball alot, unlike some players on the team. His shooting is kind of bad, but he is a pass first kind of guy and he should stick to that. It has really hurt the players overall if Yao and T-Mac aren't in the game. It takes the pressure off of the other players and they can relax and play their own game. Sura was suppose to be the starting PG, but he's out for the whole season because of his knee. When he comes back next season, both should compete for that spot.

The only thing that's wrong with Swift is that he's dumber then a rock. He doesn't have the brains I think to be a greta player, but he has been doing a good job from the bench. Howard is our starting PF and I really like him as a player. He shots well and he will give you about 10+ points and around 7 rebounds per game. We do need to bring in a young PF who can help Yao on defense and take over when Howard retires, which is probably soon.

Nets up 96-83

Looks like the bobcats gave a good fight but not strong enough up front to do anything

Felton so far 19 points and 7 assists

Jefferson on the other side has 33 points and 10 rebounds

i think the problem with the rockets is that they dont give the ball to yao enough espicially when mcgrady is on yao needs to take more shots than mcgrady.

You are correct. T-Mac has always took alot of shots because he know's that he can take over the whole game. He has helped us many times and who can forget about the 13 points in the last 30 seconds against the Spurs last season. Man I will never forget that game.

BTW Budd, how has Lonny Baxter being doing with you guys? Bogans has been doing good here, but he isn't the same when he is a starter. He would be an awesome bench guy for us next season.

Baxter had like 2 games over 10 points, 1 where he came off the bench and got 18

He hasnt gotten any minutes lately though...only averaging like 3ppg too

Charlottes now got it to a 10 point game

101-111

wow its great to see this thread is still going. Ya Jefferson had a huge game last night 40 pts, 11 boards. Tomorrow vs. Cavs, Go Nets!

I still think that Gay is overrated especially since he's coming out in the draft to go to the nba. Yeah he has potential and he needs to mature but u don't do that in the nba especially since he didn't really dominate in college.

Yes true Redick won't lose his shot but as i said he'll prolly be a very good bench player. You usaully don't have your 3 point specialist starting. If he proves he can distrubute the ball well and attack the basket in the nba then he'll start.

Yes the played a good game but the nets pulled carter with like 9 mintutes left in the 4th i believe so it prolly would of been more. But overall great game they gave the nets a good run in the beginning.
