NFL Opener Chiefs/Lions game chat

You got it backwards. Detroit was in control for most of the game after the punt fake.

If it wasn’t for that drive in 2nd quarter where they had a fumbled snap then a lost fumble deep in KC territory, the game would have been over much sooner.

Look up the game stats, they reflect what I’m saying. Detroit leads in nearly all categories both offensively and defensively.

I too think Detroit should’ve won that game comfortably. Still shocked Goff made that 4th and 2 error to not pick up the first down with his legs.

Play after play that dude lined in the backfield. He was deeper than a tight end usually would line up and no flag til late in the game.

How do you miss that as a line judge?

The Jaguars had to be laughing watching that game.

Taylor’s FA contract was a head scratcher.

not just that he had the yips before everysnap he was shaking

Chiefs only lose 3 or 4 a season so to have them lose the opener even though it was out of conference is a huge positive for any aspiring AFC team like the Phins.

I can’t think of one reason the Jags shouldn’t win that game comfortably.

Not one?
