Ray Lewis can die. FML.

WTF was that at mid field with cameras all around him in a circle as he mooned everyone?

It dosent get worse than this SB matchup. Im not watching that ****.

Yea, those 2 guys are such horrible people. Nothing worse than people who ooze excellence in their field. Much better to see a murderer preaching.

Yea Falcons are horrible. Im sure you think the 9ers are the best team in the league. Falcons were a couple of yards and a bs no call on a blatent PI at the end from beating them so they are clearly horrible. The difference in those two teams was shown to be a lot. Get real.

I don't even know where to begin murder thing you love bring up. You and others have no proof of all of this...we will never know what really happened. I'm not going to judge him, though...it's not my position.

As far as the 49ers, yes they WERE the better team...they proved it this afternoon. Nobody is saying the Falcons as a whole are terrible, their defense sure as hell was in the second half. Their offense couldn't get anything done in the second half...including Matt Ryan. Championship teams get it done, no excuses.

I've said it here many times: Matt Ryan is the most overrated QB in the NFL. His WRs, TE, and RBs make so many great, unbelievable plays. And yet he coughs up a 17 point lead with a pick, a fumble, and failing in the redzone all in the second half. He's a fraud.

The most overrated & overhyped QB is Romo. Melty Ice runs a close 2nd.

One of the stupidest posts Ive seen on any board.

Matt Ryan played a great game. He had a costly fumble and aside from that was outstanding. The INT came when White slipped on the play. The guy threw for almost 300 yards and 3 TDs in one half against the best D in the NFC. The only reason the failed in the redzone on the last drive was thanks to a terrible no call on that PI on 4th down. Get ****ing real.

Falcons got a pretty favorable that same drive. Not to mention we can go back to that hold called on the 49ers, yet they show the clear hold on the Falcons the same play which would have been offsetting. Yes, it was a bad no call but the Falcons got their fair share of calls as well. Ryan played well the past two weeks especially facing the number 1 and 2 defense in the NFC back to back weeks. Most people hear just hate on Ryan because the annoying fans who cant let us live down that the GM and/or Parcells took Long over Ryan, yet they rub it in our faces like we were the ones that made the pick. The love affair with Ryan/Long pick with most people is hilarious though. Especially because we took Ronnie Brown over Aaron Rodgers but nobody ever seems to talk about Rodgers a QB that has a SB win..Who was our QB then? Gus Frerotte. Yet we passed on Rodgers.

As of right now we don't have a SINGLE 1st round pick on our team from 2009 and earlier. No I'm not counting Jake Long right now because he is a FA. So hes on the fence right now.

Vontae, Ginn, Allen, Ronnie Brown, and Vernon Carey all gone.

I don't understand how Matt Ryan or Tony Romo are overrated? Tony Romo is on Americas team so of course the Cowboys are going to get a bunch of coverage, and whenever they do get a bunch of coverage its usually used to bash Tony Romo! Matt Ryan is usually an afterthought of this team. His WRs get a TON of credit, almost as much as any other WRs in the league besides Calvin Johnson. You probably see Roddy White more on TV than Matt Ryan.

Overrated and Overhyped QBs are players like

Michael Vick
Cam Newton
Mark Sanchez- Media ate Sanchez so much 2 years ago. His team as a whole had success going to 2 AFC championship games but lets be realistic, they had a subpar offense and the number 1 or 2 defense in the NFL?
Carson Palmer
Phillip Rivers
Jay Cutler

Romo gets so much praise and he is an elite QB, but where has he taken the Cowboys?

Joe Flacco is 8-4 in the postseason, has just outdueled Brady and PManning, and has won several divisional championships over The Steelers. He's not 1-4 in the biggest games of the season. Instead of talking what might have been with Ryan instead of Long, how about instead shifting the convo to taking Long and then trading up to leapfrog above the Ravens for Flacco? After all its not like he wasn't already on everyone's radar zooming up the draftboard on the basis of the Combine?

Whoops. Roger Goodell will have to get on the rules committee. More handcuffs on the defense. All the tinkerbell passing teams were eliminated.

This is the most refreshing Super Bowl matchup in years. Hopefully we'll get a hard knocking 17-13 type of game, some real football.

I say 17-13 to give me just enough room. Line is -3.5 to -4 right now. My system has San Francisco minus the points but I'll be rooting for the Ravens and Ed Reed. If the 49ers win I hope it's like today, just barely enough to cover my -3.5.

The sportsbooks were in agony when they posted that 28-24 final into the computer. I've already heard horror stories. I can't tell you what it's like when a major game falls smack on the number. You don't win any of the big bets. The sharp guys who had San Francisco gave -3.5 and the sharp guys who had Atlanta had +4.5 or even +5. Most of the public bets pushed at -4 or +4 and only a few nitwits lost by giving -4.5 on the 49ers late.

My Yards Per Pass Attempt Differential system is 7-2 in the playoffs versus the spread. I had 49ers -3.5 and no play on Baltimore/New England. I've detailed the plug and play criteria several times but here it is again: You take any team with at least a half yard edge over its opponent during the regular season. Only regular season stats matter. You ignore anything that happens in the playoffs, including injuries. San Francisco had by far the highest number among these four teams, at +1.9. Atlanta was +.5, New England +.3 and Baltimore +.2. I mentioned at the outset of the playoffs that New England's net passing numbers were barely above break even. Still, I was surprised they lost to an older team like Baltimore.

Atlanta has been a fraud both times they won 13 games. Two years ago their YPPA Differential was -.2, if you can believe that, despite being the top seed. Green Bay as 6th seed had the top YPPA net of any playoff team that year.

I must say, it took special talent to build a 20-0 lead in one home playoff game yet barely survive, then follow that up by blowing a 17-0 home playoff lead, including zero points in the second half. Matty October had happy feet from the first pass of the second half and it never stopped. I couldn't stop laughing when they chose an idiotic roll out on the 3rd and 4 play near the goal line. As I've posted many times recently, that type of play is moronic in the NFL. Work in a stats office and you'll discover that in a hurry. Too often you simply cut off half the field on yourself. The 4th down play was a congested delight and Matty October panicked, throwing it the only place he looked.

wv get real and admit that matt ryan laid an egg in the second half of todays game...a blatant pi call on that 4th down on a 5 yard route in the 5 yard chuck zone is rediculous...like awsi said ryan had happy feet the entire second half...same thing he did last week...this time unlike last week his teammates were unable to bail him out...

matt ryan for a veteran with as much experience as he has gave that game away today...stop calling that guy matty ice...more matty regular season

and i don't want to hear any lame he hurt his shoulder excuses either...that 13-3 record against the like lowest strength of schedule in the league was bunk

I hardly hear priase for Romo unless its from former players who say he gets too much credit for the Cowboys troubles. Majority of the media destroys Romo. Many Dallas fan I run into hates him and wants him gone. Personally I think he gets too much hate as it is. Sure, maybe Skip Bayless a known Cowboy fan talks him up but a lot of people destroy Romo. Just type Tony Romo in google and look at the articles talking about Dallas needing to get trade him. Read the Dallas fans forum, or read comments on articles. People usually Bash the guy.

lol these kind of always are expected to be a low scoring game and then the offense explodes

Yeah I don't believe Melt Ryan is overrated, probably still underrated if anything. Joe Flacco is probably one of the most underrated QBs in the history of the NFL for what he's accomplished.

What the Harbaughs have done is incredible, 7 for 7 in getting to the postseason with an insane regular season win/loss record between the two of them.

Melty Ice strikes again.

Sorry your worst nightmare came true, WV!

It appears the Football Gods hate you!

Perhaps you're reading the wrong gospel.

Instead of St. Matthew, may I recommend...
