We need to be focusing on the "Chad Henne drop back passing" package (#1) first, then the I formation (#2), then the Wildcat (#3), then use run the WildPat (#4) as our pure "trick play package".
If I was Dan Henning, I would be doing #1 40% of the time, #2 30% of the time, #3 25% of the time, #4 5% of the time. As #1, #2, #3 work better, the more often you should do #4 to keep defenses confused.
If we can't threaten defenses very well with our #1 and #2 packages very well, then the #3 and #4 aren't going to work too well. Especially the #1 package. Defenses don't respect our passing game very much. Tom Brady scares defenses. Henne and our receivers don't. Not yet anyway. That's got to change.
