Olivier Vernon

The one thing that it a reoccurying theme is how young players continue to improve week after week under this coaching staff, where as the last few years players stayed the same during the year and only got better in the offseason. Or at least that is the way I usually saw it.
 
Don't know about being a Pro Bowl Caliber DE, but I think he has all of the ability to be a pass rushing specialist in this league. Still, I'd love to go after a DE early next year in the draft to team with Vernon and Wake.

The bottom line is he is making plays when they are there to be made. He is doing it more consistently than previously. That is improvement.
 
That second sack was unbelievable, he burst through the line as if untouched. Wakes play on the suk rule was other worldly. Got robed out of a sack/fumble.

Woah, cool it. We should still look to upgrade the DE position. Need more consistent pressure opposite Wake. DE is tied with WR for #1 on my priority list.
 
I remember when he was coming out of Miami that only Miller and Vernon were two guys that I would love for the Dolphins to get and we got both of them. Vernon I thought was a physical specimen and could of been a 1st or 2nd round pick he would of stayed in school for a year and dominated all year long but I am glad he came out for the Dolphins but not happy because the Hurricanes could of def. used him. Anyways I think that this kid is going to be amazing here for years to come. Just love seeing him grow week to week.

Can you imagine the craziness on this site if Ireland was to dare draft another lineman.
