Prayers needed for Jim Kelly

a man is dying a slow, horrible death and fans are sexing on his daughter.

as i said, some dolphins fans are starting make jet fans look like all class.

THIS IS BAD NEWS. i hated the bills with a passion and they may have the most classless fans ever, but, as the previous poster pointed out, is a good man, a real decent guy who spent his life doing positive things for his family, community and team. what more can you ask for out of a man? ad he ndeserves RESPECT from everyone, sports foe or not. especially on his death bed.

he is deserving and blessed with a nice family, one lost to another tragic disease.

some folks could take a lesson from jim kelly. kharma's comming!!!!!

Hated the player at the time but learned to respect the man. Best wishes as he is on for the fight of his life.

this is such terrible news, after all Jim went through w/ his son and now his life is ending in this fashion. I hope for a miracle for him.

Guys try not to give any attention to that tasteless post, this is about Jim. Let's not steer it in any other direction other than Jim.
 
Wow, That is very bad news, all my prayers for the Kelly family, hoping that Jim's latest fight is as successful as his career.
 
UPDATE:

The Hall of Famer was diagnosed with upper jaw cancer last June, and he had surgery to remove part of his jawbone. He subsequently was declared cancer-free without undergoing radiation or chemotherapy.
However, on March 14, the Erie County Medical Center announced that Kelly's cancer has reappeared.

"Jim Kelly came to ECMC this week for continued testing related to his oral surgery," said Dr. Thom Loree, a head and neck surgeon, in a statement. "Unfortunately, it has been determined that his cancer has returned.

"Our team of head and neck cancer specialists is determining a course of treatment that will allow Mr. Kelly to battle this cancer successfully. Mr. Kelly has asked that you to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Surgery is set for Thursday.

Does anyone know if he chewed tobacco? It sounds like he has some kind of oral cancer.

After witnessing the effects of cancer first hand, I just don't know how anyone can keep using tobacco products. Its a slow form of suicide, only with a gruesome battle near the end.
