Put Philly in the mix and arguements can be made for anyway you want to rank them. That's what i like about the power ratings. The better teams always end up at the top. Jets might end up there too if the QB holds up for the year...

How are the Jets below the Chargers when they beat them this season, and have a better record than they do. On the road no less

Just because you beat a team doesn't mean you get to leap frog them are stay above that team.

SD has had two big wins against teams that were ranked well when they beat them. Tennesse and Jacksonville. Jets on the other hand barely beat Buffalo and didn't crush us on the score board.

About Cincinnati. Miami's power rating was still artificially higher than it shoud have ben been (from last year) when they played Cincinnati. Cincinnati closed the gap after the win but lost ground in their loss to the ravens the following week.

Miami on the other hand lost no points from the NE defeat and only lost 1 point from the Jets defeat. When good teams beat bad teams no points are gained or lost unless the game is closer than it should be or it is a big blow out...

Well the Jet's past three wins have been struggles against Buffalo, Miami and SF. All 3 teams are considered weak.

SD on the other hand lost by 1 to Atlanta, after they Crushed the Jags, and Tennesse.

Plus the Jeff Sagarin NFL ratings of USAToday has SD above the Jets also...
