So they crushed that Jags and Tennesee, and we wooped them, and they have lost 2 games and we are undefeated, but they are better then us? Ok, your right...you and Jeff whoever the hell... :rolleyes:

Those joke of a rankings had a 5-0 team ranked 12th
Power Rankings based on numbers are flawed, if your rankings & the USA today's aren't proof of that I dont know what is.

There's no good reason for a team that has a much better record, beat the other team, on the road, to be lower than them. Sorry, but there's not.
 
Look guys record doesn't matter as much as the competition that you play in the system. Because the Jets beat SD doesn't mean they automaticlly get to stay ahead of SD until they lose. Beating Buffalo by 2 points hurt the jets. SD's 1 point loss at atlanta didn't hurt them. Sure the system is flawed. Every system is, but look at the top teams in the rankings. The teams at the top I think most NFL fans would say are playing the best ball right now. Look at the teams at the bottom. I think most NFL fans would say those teams aren't playing well at all. Sure the Jets are a 5-0 team and they are ranked #10 and are only 2 points away from top 5 despite having only one quality win. If they had crushed those other teams they would be there now. Seeing as the games were tight the system shows it. This coming week The jets could lose to NE by almost 2 TD's and still not drop a bit in their power ranking because NE is so high. On the other hand, lose by 5 or less and the Jets will move up. Win the game outright and the Jets will be knocking on the door to the top 5.

Did I day it would make us number 1? No...dont think so. But if you wanna tell me that the Jets are not a top 5 team if they win this weekend then your ratings are even more fuked up then I previously thought. Then again, these are your power rankings, and your a phin fan. LOL...
 
Actually I said a win would have them knocking on the door for the top 5. But I can't say they will be automaticlly be in the top 5 until we see what the other teams above the Jets do this weekend. Everyone realizes that has to figure into the conversation as well.

Everyone except maybe a Jet's fan I guess... LOL...

Why don't you make your own rankings and then you can put the Jets 1,2,3,4??? I think his rankings will be looking pretty strong after the Pats beat you by 21 on sunday.

With regards to the rankings if the Jets win this weekend they are a top five team...rankings or no rankings. The one thing that matter the most...W's. So count the points however you like...dosent really matter.
