I actually see this as a huge win for Miami. They played it perfectly. Teams knew we were interested in dumping vets. We didn't 'announced who. Texas called and asked for Tunsil. We said it take everything plus your sister. And it didn't happen. Anybody trying to bring feelings into this or think Miami was used...ugh

This is far from the truth. We're had a deal in place. Clowney was going to sign his tender till he learned hew was being traded to Miami, he refused to sign. Our front office meet with Clowney trying to convince him to sign he was not swayed. No one knows what we were giving or the details of the trade, but Clowney not signing had been reported by all threw national media outlets.

Yea just saw it flash on the NFL channel. They called it Deep talks and some of the players on the Seahawks are tweeting about it. So this seem real.

Clowney not signing has nothing to do with Miami. He, his agent and Houston screwed the pooch.
 
How hard are three-team trades to make? It's happened rarely but non unprecedented in the nfl. Seems like the prime chance for one. Imagine getting 2 firsts and a second for Tunsil

Dr. Clowney stating "I won't play for the Dolphins" really should not have been an impediment to getting a deal done. I mean, him refusing to play hasn't stopped the Texans from paying him a ton of money. :lol:

The Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson reports the Texans have interest in Seahawks C Justin Britt.

It's no secret the Texans are looking for offensive line help in any potential Jadeveon Clowney trade. Clowney appears headed to Seattle; the sides just need to work out the trade parameters. Britt has two years left on his deal and turned 28 this offseason. Texans incumbent C Nick Martin is entering the final year of his deal. Britt has also played guard and tackle in the NFL.

Absolutely false! Clowney was set to sign tender before third preseason game. He was informed of trade he refused. Our front office tried to convince him and failed
