Tannehill starting tonight!

Well then don't make the claim that you haven't seen a Dolphins QB convert 3rd and longs like that in a long time. Matt did it a lot last year, particularly because of the long downs the putrid matador O-line put them in.

i haven't seen it...what i have seen is matt moore miss underneath throws by a mile...just missed a potential converting 3rd down throw a few minutes ago...

b/t enigmatics i don't hate matt moore...but how hard is it for you to see that his game is not a good fit for this offense???

Doesn't matter what you haven't seen. The stats show otherwise. C'mon, be objective.

i don't live and die and form every argument off of stats...never have never will...

What else are you supposed to "live and die" from? You said 3rd and long ..... I showed you the numbers, he completed 64% of them last year along with 10 yards per. Is there some other magical facet of the game where we figure out how he does on that down and distance?

i'll give you a positive...i would give the kickoff return job to thigpen right now...he looks the part...

Really? I'm looking at the fact tghat Tannehill put the ball in the endzone 3 times in two games (One dropped touchdown), including a nice drive against the one's of Carolina tonight....Matt Moore has zero touchdown drives.

This game is about scoring touchdowns.

Problem is, we won't necessarily carry anyone as a return specialist. I don't really think its necessary with the new kickoff rules unless you have a guy who is absolutely electrifying.

How many TD drives did Moore have last year, when we steamrolled teams like KC and the Bills? And don't forget, he completely dominated last preseason, despite not even being allowed to practice with the team until not long before the first preseason game.

We weren't discussing TD's ..... We were discussing QB's converting 3rd and long.

Have fun with your imaginary conversation though.

that's a interesting point but guys are returning kicks 9 yards deep now a days...i'd keep thigpen personally...that's the best looking returner on the team
