great series for the Pens... they fought until the very last second and showed amazing heart for a young team.... BUT the wings took care of business, and simultaneously wiped out the bad taste left by multiple years of Presidents Trophies followed up by early round playoff exits.... they came together and played well from top to bottom... this is a truly amazing team and i dont see them falling off any time soon...

hopefully the penguins can resign a lot of this young core and maybe we'll have a rematch next season :D

I think the playoff beards are great. Though some guys just can't pull them off. Briere when he was a Sabre couldn't neither could Jochen Hecht if I recall correctly. I thought Crosby's was funny. When the Canes won the Cup a few years ago I forget his name but one of their guys had this big red playoff beard. It was top-notch.
