The Cost Of Doing Business?

It will be much worse, and the product on the field last year was predominantly smoke n mirrors.

This team ain't going anywhere.
How do you know this? Do you have a Stargate, in yo’ bedroom??

The reality is that he’s probably not going to be wrong. We peaked last yr. Now we are losing key players that we can’t afford because of where management has put us

It was a Key and Peele reference.

But, the reality is, when you say the Dolphins are going to be worse this year than last year, you have a 50/50 chance of being right.

Personally, I’m going to stay optimistic and reserve judgment until after the season.

Its painfully obvious that this thread, and every thread brother phinsforlife posts is ALWAYS about the same topic, and its time that we all faced it head on! Sometimes he's direct, other times he tries to start subliminally or cautiously, but he always ends up in the same place. So lets just put on our big boy pants and talk about it straight up.........TEAM NUTRITION! All our injuries, our CAP problems, coaching changes, even the penalized draft picks we lost can ALL be traced DIRECTLY to TEAM NUTRITION.

Cases in point...Had owner Ross and his executives been taking proper supplements (chia seeds) and high doses of Omega3, their mental sharpness would have prohibited any discussions about Brady.

Our current QB (yes I'm afraid to utter his name, but it rhymes Mooah) didn't play well in record setting blizzard conditions because he lacked collagen. The skin on his gloveless hands became dry and lacked the suppleness to throw properly.

Had we offered Wilkins a "nutrition" clause in his contract, he would have immediately taken a very team friendly deal and perhaps even asked for a salary decrease, providing the saved funds, be used for TEAM NUTRITION!

Don't be angry at phinsforlife. He's just one of the few of us brave enough to talk about what we all know to be true....TEAM NUTRITION is the key to all of our teams hopes and dreams. until that is accepted and embraced, everything is pointless!

This is what happens when you build a deep, talented NFL roster.

You have to get used to seeing guys leave for bigger paydays.

It has been a long time since Dolphin fans had to deal with this aspect of the Salary Cap Era.

I am disappointed Miami wasn't able to tie up Wilkins a year ago but obviously he has a bigger number in mind than Miami can justify.

He will be hard to replace on the field and in the locker room.

The team who overpays him will likely regret it in a few years when his Cap # starts to climb and we will see his name in stories about getting released or taking a pay cut.
Lmao! We literally have 1 healthy D linemen ans 2 O linemen worth a damn and 1 is hurt half the season and that is a result of good drafting? Good Lord dude, what kind of dope you smoking?

Yes we agree. Here are some more recommendations:
Ross = Viagra. Especially because he is recently divorced. If I lived where you did, I would have scads of that stuff, so maybe you can send him some?
Tua = Growth hormone. Needed to start it when he was 12 while there was still hope. Now too late. Also, the way he started looking as the season progressed, definitely Ozempic now
Wilkins = Actually all good. Has been a great Dolphin. On field play, attitude, off the field. But he is the one that will get sent packing? What happens if the Pats sign him and he mushes Tua with one of his patented late hits?

speaking of wilkins and hunt, here is jevon holland on the subject. although i am not exactly sure what his point is?
