I wouldn't call Parker a malcontent. He's just soft, albeit somewhat talented. Bryant is less talented, but much more aggressive and alpha on the boundary.

You're probably giving up some "potential" in favor of production.

Parker could have a Ginn career where he lingers for a decade. But, I would question whether he is in Miami's long range plans.

I think he gets a solid starter's contract, but I doubt he ends up with any stratospheric deal. He's not that good.

the odds of that dude getting paid and then laying down or worse getting in trouble way I see it very strong

I have no doubts martavis Bryant is in it purely for the money

his off field and antics will limit the contract but anyone goes long term on that kid they better fully protect themselves in that contract

Talented kid, but too much of an off field risk. I don’t believe the rumor. Miami and Gase wouldn’t risk it on a guy like Bryant. I’d roll with Parker for 2 more years.
