What are the most overrated and underrated dolphins in your opinion

People rarely speak highly of Daniel Thomas, it's true. On the other hand, I think if you asked most people who will make the 53 man roster at the RB position, the majority of them would have Daniel Thomas on that roster. I also believe if you asked people who the "tandem" will be this year, close to half of them assume it will be Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas.

And that means he's overrated, IMO.

I liked the pick, and what I saw of him to start his rookie year but, it has been all downhill from there. Many questions on him.

Thoughts on Bradshaw IF healthy?

I'm with you CK on Carroll and Egnew.

I think Carroll was sold last year and hopefully he'll make a jump this year. I'm very surprised by the hate he receives, especially since most of it comes from him getting burned by Andre Johnson 2 years ago. Carroll will make this team this year IMO.

Nolan Carroll had a terrible game against the Bills. No doubt about it. After that game the coaches had him sharing time with R.J. Stanford and other guys, and he didn't even play in Weeks 16 or 17. So even though we think he's underrated, there's a strong possibility that for THIS coaching staff, he's on his way out the door. However if you take aside that Bills game where he got 4 penalties, PFF had him with a +0.9 "overall rating" which would've ranked him among the top 64 at the position (i.e. 'starters'). As things stand they rated him #67 at the position. Among guys with at least 50 attempts thrown on him he ranks #31 of 81 in yards per attempt. I just think he was a 3rd year guy with good size and speed that did OK in coverage and isn't being given credit for it, might continue developing. Who knows?

I also think if Egnew works hard this offseason and gets the playbook down, which seemed to be a problem for him last year, that he will make the team over Clay. He has all the physical attributes and everyone was really high on him after we drafted him. I think people expected him to be Jimmy Graham right away and when he didn't, combined with the Hard Knocks footage, people really gave up on him fast and called him worthless. My guess is that he really surprises people this year in TC and becomes our #2 TE this year and takes over for Keller next year if all goes well.

Think he has an uphill climb to be the #2 because they want a blocker in there and Dion Sims is clearly it. But I think he'll play this year.

I've always loved Ahmad Bradshaw. Health is a huge question mark on him though. Also I'm not totally sure he fits the system, but there are others that don't see why he wouldn't.

With Carroll, special teams also have to be considered. Many don't think about this when thinking who makes the roster, and it is very important.

My question is underrated or overrated by whom?

Nolan Carroll was probably the WORST player in our secondary last year.....he gets burned constantly by guys with average speed and route running. The guy is a bum.....hence why we loaded up at the position. GET CARROLL OFF THE FIELD!
Carroll had a very bad game against Buffalo, giving away penalties. But he was actually one of the big improvers last season. I disagree with many on here who want to discard him. I think Carroll can take his game to the next level, to call him a bum is absurd.
Believe it or not, there is a better chance that Patterson or Marshall get chopped before Carroll.

overrated dustin keller...

underrated ryan tannehill...even nfl.com has the guy too low in it's qb rankings...#19 is way too low...first potential long term qb answer we've had since marino hung em up...the kids legit...has everything you could ask for...i'll ride or die with this kid

underrated #2 marcus thigpen...high end return specialist with the right mindset...one cut and north and south...fearless...surprising versatility as a slot wr and runs for a college rb pretty good routes...gives miami options

Bess, hart line, fasano, Matt Moore and every practice squad qb we've ever had are all over rated by fans.
