They don’t need to bring extra to get pressure allowing them to drop into coverage and since safeties aren’t worried about Tua going deep or needing to worry about the run either they can provide tighter coverage over the top. And lastly, because of all the above, corners can be more aggressive. A QB that could threaten downfield and make every throw would loosen coverage up considerably, whether the line improved or not

There have been a few games in which, while miami is playing from behind, the offense opens up a little. This is all in desperation - attempting to score in the 4th Q. I think the coaches want to play it conservative, Tua himself has seemingly hinted at this in press conferences where he says he is taking what the defense gives him. I really think that is what he is instructed to do... along with the terrible O-Line and, now, bad defense. Oh yeah, and poor running game. And the bad O-Line.

This Dolphin's Offense is claustrophobic.

Seems contradictory. If the defense can get pressure so easily, how would the qb have enough time to make every throw and let plays progress?
