Interesting Poll by Bills' Fans

LOL..nicely put!

Ya,Miami won 5 more games then Buffalo last year with the 31st ranjed QB and with a rookie RB filling in for a suspended ricky who came off of a 12 month drug induced haze, with a 9 new starters,a new offense,a new defense, a new head coach,AJ instead of the #34 pick in the draft, half of their other picks traded by their previous coach,3 new coordinaters and 2 hurricanes.
They have added at best, the 39/11 td/int ratio 3 time pro bowl 6'5" 240lb 4.5 40 QB thats ranked in the top5 yearly or at worst, an above average QB that constitutes as a massive upgrade over anything theyve had in a decade.Of course they lost the penalty/Td giving up machine,Sam Madison but theyve also replaced him with Wil Allen-who fits their cover-2 faaar better and signed pretty good FA players that fill many of their 05' shortcomings.

Then you have the team thats won 3 out of the past 6 superbowls, who have the best QB in the NFL,the best coach in the NFL,the best Personel guy in the NFL(Scott Piolli).Theyve won the division every 6 out of the last 7 years, have all their draft picks-and actually use them better than the other teams in the division have in the past 5 years.Did they cut Willie Mcginist and Vineteari?Yes.Didnt they cut Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy AND win a SB the following year?Lets not even compare those players.

The Jets are a total mess.Theres no reason to even talk about them.

The Bills have averaged 6 LESS wins than the division winner in the past SEVEN YEARS.Have a new coach.A new GM,Three totally unproven QBs.Very little to show from their last TWO drafts(we wont even go back to M.Williams).Are in the process of trying to trade their best WR when 31 teams think that he will be cut in a month anyways.Have done very little to fill their needs(and dont even try and say that a team whos best season in the past 6 years had 9 ins, doesnt have ALOT of holes)to this point.

NE has lost a few guys, but at least they have PROVEN that they can replace them every single year. The Dolphins are NOT run by Dave Wandstedt anymore. In 5 months, they have gone from an underacheiving team with the worst coaching in the NFL,to a well run team with great coaching across the board that got FOUR starters in their 05' draft(which had 3 picks already traded and nothing to show for them),and has very much upgraded from that 9-6 year. The Bills have signed a handful of MARGINAL replacement's and for the most part, chosen to stay out of the part of free agency that includes proven-young players and money.

Mike Mularley???....THATS your reasoning for Buffalo TRIPLEING thier win total and doubling their average?Because the Dolphins have a head coach for their O-coordinater?They have one for their D-coordinater too if that makes you feel better...Of course, before some ego maniac fool thought he was smarter than everyone else in the NFL and hired Mularkey as his Head Coach,he ran a TOP 3 (THATS TOP THREE),offense for two years straight.Of course,Miami has said all along that they run a hybrid Offense that looks like a mix of a power run game/deep passing game that was installed by Minny's old Coordinater(Linehan)because their personel fit into it well and they ranked in the top17 is almost every offensive catagory last year. That was year one...Thats supposed to be a "learning'year..

Buffalo?Buffalo just better beat the Jets or theres gonna be alot of really ticked off fans man

Good to see, this is the kind of stuff we need to build confidence. Remeber what people were saying about us this time last year.

WOW BILLS FANS HAV BRAINS!!! well 44% of them do rest of them still kinda hav a huge gap between their ears..

I find it quite funny when they say anyone other than the Dolphins will win it. Without being biased, we are the only team that has progressed this offseason. Being named the best team to not make the playoffs, and progress is big progress to say the least. But our progress has been significant.

We signed a franchise QB (Top 3 in the NFL).
We added strength and depth to the o-line.
We upgraded our offensive and defensive co-ordinaters.
We signed some young talented DB's to increase the defensive backfield.
We hold an excellent draft position to fill any serious need (LB, o-line, DB).

Can't really complain.

You'll never see finfans pick any other team even if you had Lucas as your qb.

you're so ignorant, how can you say that? Let me ask you something, what did Randy Moss do last year in Oakland? Well other than looking frustrated by Kerry Collins and Norv Turner, I wouldn't say a whole lot. Also, your assesment of Daunte's success or lack there of without Randy Moss, is just plain wrong. In 2004, while Daunte Culpepper was enjoying his most succesful season in which he threw for 39 TDs to only 11 INTs for over 4700 yards with a completion percentage of 69.2!!! Now, if you remember correctly 2004 was also Randy Moss' worst statistical season of his career, as he caught just 49 balls for 767 yards, but with 13 TDs, while missing five games. Now, take away those numbers and Culpepper still has an amazing stat line of 26 TDS to 11 INTS for 3950 yards.

Regarding last season, Culpepper got off to a horrendous start losing to Tampa Bay and Cincinnati, by tossing eight interceptions to zero touchdowns. However, if you look closely at the numbers; Culpepper rebounded to throw 6 TDs and 4 INTs over the next five games before getting hurt. While many use Culpepper as a skapegoat for the Vikings poor start, there were many factors that lead to the poor start......the loss of offensive coordinator Scott Linehan to Miami didn't help as Culpepper was forced to learn a new offensive system, the offensive line was in shambles with the loss of center Matt Birk and it doesn't bode well when the coaching staff abandons the run and puts everything on your shoulders.

The Vikings made a big mistake in letting Daunte go and the Dolphins got quite a steal. Its laughable to believe that Brad Johnson will lead the Vikings past an 8-8 or 9-7 record this season with a brand new head coach. Johnson as you know lead the Vikings to a 7-2 finish and a near playoff berth. However, if you look closer at his numbers you will see that the offense incorporated the running game on a more consistent basis, thus making for a more balanced attack and the offensive line recovered from injury. Also, Johnson lit up some pretty sorry defenses such as; Detroit, Green Bay, Cleveland and St. Louis....but struggled against top defenses like; Pittsburgh, Baltimore and New York (Giants).

You all need to know something, Daunte Culpepper will find success again in Miami. First of all, he WANTS TO PLAY THERE and even took a pay-cut to accomidate the team. Secondly, Daunte will have a plethora of weapons to utilize on offense with the likes of; Chris Chambers, Marty Booker, Randy McMichael, Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams and a solid offensive line. He also has a much better coaching staff to consult with and will be using the Scott Linehan offensive system that he excelled in 2003 and 2004. As for his rehabilitation, he has dropped some weight and expects to be ready by opening day. Saban and Mueller made the right choice by picking Culpepper over Brees....players recover from serious knee injuries all the time (see your own Willis McGahee), how many quarterbacks do you know of that recover from shoulder surgery?.......I rest my case, have a nice day.......

I guess we found the same post, becuase I put it up a few posts back, I believe. It's all good though. Some these bills fans actually are logical and bring up good points whether it's agreeing with Miami or not unlike some on this forum who believe a stat from a few games, bases a player's ability, without any other proof or points, which is dumb and weak.
