I knew this team would lay an egg when it really mattered. This seems to be the case in recent years. They get your hopes up and then crush them with an abysmal performance. Maybe I am spoiled, but that was the exception instead of the norm when Shula was coach. Yes, sometimes we lost but we we hardly ever looked inept. I guess you always fall back to your true self. I guess it was too much to hope that Cutler would turn over a new leaf. He really showed why he is so vilified around the league.

Brutal article - even the Jets canceled on him - LOL:

“He was such a wreck in his final season with the Bears that nobody wanted him when he tested the market early this year. His flight to New York was cancelled, and the Jets curiously never made the effort to reschedule. They were happy to take Josh McCown instead, and he’s been significantly better.”

Lots of talent but he wasted his entire career. But he made plenty of money and married an actress so he probably doesnt care

Even Adam Gase, who has bowed up against Cutler criticism throughout the season, had a hard time defending this one.

“I have to go back and look at what was going on with that,” he said when asked about Cutler’s inaccuracy on a 28-for-49 day. “There was a couple of them where I thought we had some chances (if) he threw a good ball. I felt like we were on the same page. We just didn’t hit them.”

Yes, it was hard to defend his play, basically impossible today.

yeah cutler was **** today in buffalo. he looked just like ryan tannehill in december divisional games.

If Tanny was the QB this whole season I believe we see a different result.

Let’s not bring Tannehill into this. Anyway....Miami has been abysmal on the road this season. Especially cutler

Larsen was bad his first couple of games back, but has improved and is playing OK. If he can stay healthy and play like that, he will turn out to be a good signing on that contract.
Agreed. I’m sure part of the rust was due to the injury he sustained. He’s been decent.

He is who he always was. There's a reason why some guys just never make it happen. He's a loser. He can't do the things week in and week out to win football games.

This is Jay Cutler. Anybody who has watched Jay Cutler over the years can see this coming a mile or two away. The think I don't get is Gase bringing this guy in .... I'm just not getting it. Gase is like one of those girls who just can't help but try to fix the guy she knows is broken.

By the way, poster who brought RT14 into this. Stop trolling.

For what it's worth the offense, which was horrible early in the season, has averaged 24 points per game in the 6 games Larsen has played.

Cutler was just god-aweful today. No way around it. The accuracy of a stormtrooper, butter fingers, and looked as if he couldn't get back under his warm jacket quick enough. If he would have just played with some level of competence, that would have been a winnable game.
