Why Would Any In-demand Hc Candidate Consider Us?

I think we may have to do a Raiders type rebuild in a few years of more of the same. Throw all our cards on the table and hire a guy and give him full control, long term. It's not working since Shula, wtf do we have to lose if we start as if we are a new team.

Let me put this more simply, why would an in-demand coach plant his flag here with no quality QB or young one in the pipeline?....if we were a good team with just a hole at QB, maybe a good coach might come in and try with an Alex Smith type, but we aren't close to that either...
New HC can dump Tannehill and get a stopgap for 2019 and draft early in 2020.

What does that say of you? After 7 years, are you not tired of carrying his water? After 7 years of responding, shouldn't therapy be in order for you? Why do you feel the need to chime in, if you think it's a "fixation"? Projecting?
What I'm most tired of is you polluting each thread with the same basic post about Tannehill...…

The road to recovery starts with admitting you have a problem my friend

1. dolphins is good team get. we could of been 10-6 this yr.
2. got fix qb spot.
3. need add qb,og, cb, doesn't have to be day one dt run stopper
4. better coaching could help us go long way.
5. I hate say this but I don't think firing Case was right thing. this yr.
6. pls draft west vir qb

The ignorance was trying to compare Ryan Tannehill to Andrew Luck. That has been going on for years. Likewise the desperate comparisons to Russell Wilson.

Luck is eligible to return to elite status because he's always been elite. Ryan Tannehill with an improved offensive line is Ryan Tannehill.

Once Ryan Tannehill is gone nobody will care about him. He will be the equivalent of that caravan...before November 6 and after November 6.

Lol trying to spill politics into football? Why is this allowed here? Shows the kind of mental deficient I’m dealing with.

You can ignore me, a simple fix to your own problem, my friend.

I think the biggest drawback to this job is the horrible cap issues we have. Piss poor contracts of Kiko and Bobby and then having to deal with RT another huge cap hit if cut this year. Not to mention all the dead cap space carried over from last year. I hope Greir either rips off the bandaid w RT or rides it out. A post June 1 cut coupled with over paying for a Foles would cripple the team for the next 5 to 10 years. It also won't be lost on coaching prospects that the guys still in charge are responsible for this horrible cap situation. Having said this only 32 people in the world get a crack at this job at any given year. Usually the top gets every year under perform compared to their under the radar counter parts.

The problem is Tannehill is probably as good as any "stopgap"...

They should really keep him for the length of the contract as unpopular as that is around here with some of the more ignorant posters. If I were tannehill, I’d want out because this place is a dumpster fire

A lot of coaches cherish the opportunity to start fresh, choose and groom their own QB, etc....

Miami is still a high profile job, whether espn wants to admit it or not. We have fans worldwide.

Our cap situation isn't bad, honestly.

Nothing wrong with people having a diverse range of interests talking about things outside of football. I happen to think that business management philosophy is highly relevant to football, and especially to the Dolphins, as a specific management school guides most of Ross's decisions.

I find it a lot more refreshing than the guys who are totally obsessed with the coach's body language and press conference demeanor / facial expressions. While I appreciate that some of our friends on the spectrum post here, that stuff does get old.

The fact we got "fans" who think otherwise is the stunning part.

Besides the Browns with Mayfield the other 7 teams hiring don't have a good young
franchise QB. This gives the new in demand coach the opportunity to draft and groom his own guy.
