1/7/14 - where were you when you heard the news?

Talking to a client who was arranging to pay an overdue invoice.

Got agreement on a significant payment and news of Jeff Ireland's firing within about a thirty second span. Best thirty seconds of my life? Close.
 
In my car on the way to the Devils game when I heard them say it on WFAN. I almost drove off the road I was so happy lol.
 
Sitting in the CVS parking lot, got a text from my brother. Thank the Lord!

I was on the phone with a relative who was asking me to find a carbon monoxide detector for her. I turned my head and saw the name Jeff Ireland on the red Breaking News section of ESPN. I knew he had either been fired or was going to replace Lindsey Vonn on the Olympic team.
