Seems an odd pick. Maybe have a view to develop him into a backup beyond this season given Bridgewater is only on a 1 year deal.

He is a Qb that can get outside the pocket and make plays. Hmmmmmm sounds like Tua. I like the pick sure our OL should be better but nothing wrong with a QB who can scramble.
I guess they were looking for a practice squad QB who they could use during training camp and no other team would have any interest in claiming once they cut him. At least they found him.
Ok who's going to sign as UDFA's?

My view in watching Wilson a few times, he clearly wasn't ready for the jump from BYU to the NFL. That's a pretty significant leap for a quarterback and Robert Saleh wasn't doing him any favors with the sink or swim approach.
While he does a nice job avoiding the rush in front of him, Wilson doesn't feel the backside pressure well. That was an issue with Tannehill that never really got better.
Don't know if that's something that's just instinctive, or if a quarterback can improve much there.
I wouldn't be surprised if that holds Wilson back from reaching his ceiling.
