A.J. Feeley

and lossman is in his second year......silly comment......it all boils down to learning...steve young in tampa was how good?

let it all play out and we will see........lossman looks great on paper and may be a bust.
i really think he is in a good system for learning....and now feeley is too.

If you ask any NFL draft/personnel guy out there to rank the QB staffs of the 32 NFL teams, consensus would be that Miami is DEAD LAST or close to it. 25 teams WITHOUT QUESTION are better off at that position than we are, and the other all have a developmental guy that will soon be starter caliber. We have 2 3rd-stringers and a camp arm, and just signed a guy that the home town fan base despises.

WE HAVE TO MAKE A QB MOVE! Why can't people understand this?

FEELEY is NEVER going to be an upper-tier NFL QB. He is below-mediocre level. FREROTTE is a standing joke among other NFL teams/fanbases. No one wants the guy. It's ridiculous.
Just off the top of my head I would take our QB situation over Dallas',Cleveland's, Buffalo's, and Arizona's. Where did you see an oppurtunity to upgrade our QB position this offseason. Did you want Warner, Bledsoe or Dilfer? They are horrible. Saban's decisions show a lot about what he thinks about Feeley. And Berlin has 0.00000000005% chance of making the team.

Philly sold Feeley to us when his value was the highest. It was a poor move by the Dolphins no matter what he does in the future. AT THE TIME OF THE DEAL a 2nd Rounder is WAYYY too high of a price to pay for him. But again, let's see how he does. He may surprise a lot of people this year.

the only thing Feely's got going for him is that he has a hot girlfriend.

This is why you HAVE to draft QB every chance you get, even to exclusion of other positions. It IS THAT important.

I guess you forgot to tell Saban, let's get rid of him.

so was david carr woth a number 1 pick overall? ...
yes

was carson palmer?

yes
was eli manning?
yes

Seriously, if Saban called around the league would any team trade their 2nd round pick for Feeley? No, they wouldnt. So far, Feeley hasnt been worth it. We'll see if he performs better this year but I doubt he'll ever be a PBer or if he can even throw for 20 TDs and less INTs than TDs.

Just like Feely, you have alot of learning to do.

Feely was Spielman's decision and not Saban's. He inherited Feely and there wasn't much out there after the 9er's got Smith.

What has this got to do w/ Heather?

Don't make pull out Rob Johnson's , Ryan Leaf's, and Fiedler development sheet because Feely could be just like one of them.

I think Feeley will be awesome next year. The poor guy played behind the worst Oline in football... and even with that he defeated New England, played awesome against Seattle (minus the INT) and contiously took Miami down the field and gave them scoring oppurtunities. The guy is a warrior and I swear he WILL surprise people next year. With an improved Oline and Ronnie Brown and all our WRs healthy... PLUS a new Oline Coordinator... he will be great.

True, but your telling me if your Saban and you have no faith in Feeley, you go through the ENTIRE draft without taking a QB. It's very unlikely.

That comment is irrelivent. Saban CHOSE to stick with Feeley. If he really thought Feeley was as worthless as some people here are making him to be, we'd have Rogers or Smith right now but we don't so that shows that Saban is willing to give Feeley a shot, which is how everyone else should approach it, imo.

The bottom line is that Feeley (a 28 year old 3rd stringer) wasnt worth a 2nd rounder! If he had been traded for a 3rd, 4th or 5th rounder ( his true value) people wouldnt hate on him anywhere near as much as they are! Even if he turns into a Pro Bowler (very doubtful) it wont change the fact that a 28 year old 3rd stringer isnt worth a 2nd round pick!

Spielman and Wanny got taken!
