Oh now there is a conspiracy againt AJ? COme on!!! Give me a break!! What a bunch of crap. AJ Feeley is awful. Is Gus great? By no means. But he is better than AJ -easily. I'm not excited about our QB situation. But I do know that Gus gives this team the best chance to win. Sage gives this team a better chance to win than AJ does.
People were screaming that AJ needed time with the first team. Now that he GOT it, you throw crap out there suggesting that Gus was pulled out before he could look bad? Please!! Stop hugging AJ. He got the opportunity all of you were crying for and he showed his true colors. He is an INT machine. If he isn't playing against scrubs, he is pathetic. Just accept it. AJ's chance to be a starter in this league was thrown away with his pitiful performance against starters. I can't believe people are defending him. It blows my mind.

Where did I say anything about a conspiracy? I actually thought it was good plan. A Saban and Linehan know what they have in Gus. B AJ is much more unknown, C, the qb issue is divisive. So you get Gus a series or 2 then get him out. Aj gets a sign amt of time to show his weirs, and then you dont end up wit 2 very frustrated qbs.

TO equals Superbowl? since when? He played in it once during his career & that was with a team that had been to the championship the prior 3 years.

SF did not smell the SB during his time there, and only made it too one Championship game in his 8 years.

Do not hand me TO=Superbowl. TO=upset teammates.

Believe me, guy.. I don't want to see this in any of the quarterbacks on my favorite team. But, it is what it is and that I cannot change. It's all good though because AJ will be gone soon enough.

No its not the reason. NFL people understand why the trade was made. Its not different then a GM drafting a QB high & watching him fail.

It happens. RS will get the chance again.

He was put in a bad spot with a HC that was in a do or die season.

AJ had just proven why he isnt a starter through his play...
I cant believe some of these comments.. Sage looks good.. but oh... its against 3rd stringers... Gus is sucking with the 1st team.. and AJ... well hes had more snaps than any onther QB in the last 3 games.

AJ isnt a starter. Hes a 3rd string QB and perhaps people are inflating his value because of the trade.
AJ has been given every opportunity to compete for the job. I dont think it matters whether he's with the 1s or 2s.... he still had good playing time where he could've made a statement. Remember... even though hes playing with our #2s... hes also playing against 2nd string defenses. So the playing field is somewhat even.

He should be having Sage type performances to separate himself from the talent his playing against.

9 for 25 and a pick...those were Frerotte's stats TWO weeks ago when everyone, probably including you, thought he was done. Got to love that short term memory!

maybe its a moot point, but for me the INT returned for 6 is what is glaring and sticks out.

to me that would trump 2 INTs by another QB.
