A Little Tannehill Perspective...

In NFL circles, Wallace gets open deep every other play because defenses are smart enough to dare us to throw that pass. They know Tannereach cant hit that pass. It allows them to play up a little more and guard against those comeback routes he throws well.

Scouts can say whatever. The proof is in the pudding. Coordinators and defenses do not fear Hennehill. Until he hits a few of those passes it will stay that way.

Yep. Milliner gets torched deep on the regular, and the Jets left him on an island with Wallace. No fear. You could see on Rex Ryan's face after the overthrow that he expected us to miss it.

you guys are hilarious...man this is bad

oh so now you say they want miami to throw those verticals and play it that way??? ha ha...jesus...this is what i got to argue with...:bobdole:

I think its pretty obvious the last few weeks that teams are taking away Clay and the short stuff and daring us to hit beat them deep.

i think yes they are taking away clay but if you think they are just saying go ahead throw it deep we know your qb cant complete it so here it is well thats assanine...

So 7 points in 2 games is Tannehill`s fault, while Thad fcking Lewis and Geno Smith are going up and down our D... Are you guys saying Thad fcking Lewis and Geno Smith are better QBs than Tannehill?

You can call it hilarious if you like, but you cant deny that Tannehill struggles to hit Wallace deep. If I know that. you dont think coaches that study hours of film ave picked up on it?

Who cares if he is better than those two or not? Tannehill is bad in this offense.

7 points in 2 games is Tannehill's fault. Getting gashed by ****ty QBs is the defense, and to some extent the impotent offense's fault. And they may not be better QBs, but both were on the days they played Tannehill.

that doesnt mean they play for us to take those shots deep...at all...god dang why not just jump an underneath route and let wallace get vertical all he wants and why playan over the top safety so much...

with mike wallace what people dont understand evidently is the run game should be doing game in game out damage but it never happened opening up all kinds of pa opportunities...but it never happened...this teams primary issues are up front on the offense

Guys on the serious side, get real! Tannehill has no oline, no running game , old oc. The kid has talent. He's raw and getting experience. He will be a qb in the nfl for a long time. Be it a backup or starter. Give tannehill an above average line , a running game and an upgraded receiving core this kid would do some damage. Just saying.on a side note Tim tebow would of won this game with his heart and passion.

They kinda did today...Milliner's pick was exactly that if I recall correctly.

yeah he's awful...more tds than any qb since marino 15 years ago but this 2nd year qb blows..
You're in denial. Can't score, can't sustain drives. He is not good enough, he is bad.

Seriously if you cant realize that defenses have dared us to beat them deep for a while now then I dont know what to tell you. You arent the only one who puts the tape on. NFL coaches get paid to do it.

Look back at that Carolina game. How many times was Wallace open deep? That is one of the top D's in the league. You dont think they showed less concern for getting burned deep than normally? We even hit one of those deep balls for a TD. It was an under throw of course, but Wallace made a nice play on the ball.

Obviously, they watched the film and didnt see our vertical passing game as a threat. Other teams picked up on it as well. Wallace has been open deep down the sidelines A LOT this season, especially later in the year.

Its no different than when basketball defenses dont fear a shooter. They want that guy taking those jumpers. Thats why LeBron and Wade got all of the attention in the playoffs. Teams dared Bosh to beat them with a 15 ft jumper. It may not have worked out for those defenses, but that was their best play.
