A Little Tannehill Perspective...

I didnt say Moore was good. He wasnt. All Im saying is Moore hit a wide pen Hartline deep down field and Tannehill is like 1/1374829378392 on the year on those same passes.

moore has a better deep ball absolutely...it's one of the few things he does well...tannehills foot work needs to get better on some things...but it's also not a finished product...i wonder if people understand this qb is still like 2 years away from a finished product...or if they even know what development is

I am not 100% sure you can teach a qb accuracy. Tannehill has serious issues with his deep ball. I don't give a **** about stats. His placement is way off and costing Miami scores on the fact that he cannot hit a deep ball IN STRIDE. Now if this is a timing issue, then fix it. If it is a mechanics issue with his feet/hips, then teach it. Other than that, I don't give a ****. At the end of the day, Tannehill is responsible for making the correct reads and throws. We don't have 2 more years to wait for him to build a rapport with Mike Wallace. I think he has come a long way for how long he has played qb but unfortunately jobs will be lost on the account that he isn't progressing fast enough or able to progress at all in key areas for him to take the next step.

he already makes the correct reads on those plays and holds the safeties with his eyes etc...he does need to hit on more of those no doubt...would be nice if wallace would go up and get the football some but its not who he is...just remember all of you wallace and berger didn't have great vertical repoire their first year together either...

it takes time and trial and error...i agree though it needs to be better...

Rodgers was lucky today he was fortunate his receivers can contort their bodies - and I am a big Rodgers fan but he wasn't at his best and his team still picks him up - Miami appears to be the opposite

green bay ran the ball down chicagos throats...tannehill has never gotten that kind of run game this year...rodgers did makesome boss plays though no doubt..would be nice if a back could come over and pick up a clean de cutting him like the pack fb did across the formation post snap allowing rodgers time on that 4th down game winner but thats probably too much to ask for our guys...has been this year anyways

yeah he's awful...more tds than any qb since marino 15 years ago but this 2nd year qb blows..

Anyone who watched the game can see that when there is a pocket to step into Ryan is money..., no pocket and he throws off his back foot and the ball sails and he gave up the two late INTS

We could use a guy like Kuhn for sure

Don't get it twisted. I like Tannehill. I have always said he needs to fix his deep ball to get to the next level. If he can't, he will be serviceable but will need quite the supporting cast ala Matt Ryan to be consistently successful.

I think Ryan Tannehill has a great opportunity this offseason to take it upon himself to become a better player.

He needs to pull a Tom Brady and instead of hitting the links or the beach or something, he has to go find himself a professional QB whisperer and spend 12 hours a day with the guy.

alright i have had enough...if tannehills in the game on that play buffalo doesn't play it the same...they had a 3rd and long and put hartline on an island and ran a vertical...a route which hartline blows at anyways...of course the d says go ahead be my guest there with your fresh off the bench qb...

and on the next play he threw a inside breaking seam route 3 yards behind a wide ass open clay on a man route where the receiver is not gonna sit down but carry the route down the field...for a pick

if you guys are trolling me like a bunch of girls i dont find it funny

HOF CB Deion Sanders, who I cant stand but, would obviously know a thing or two about playing CB just stated during the highlight of the Milliner INT......

"When somebody jumps a stop route against a deep WR they dont respect them".

Deion basically telling you that defenses had no fear of us completing a deep ball on them.

But, keep believing what you wish. League circles my ass. League circles know that Tannehill will not beat them.

You make an excuse for everything Tannehill does. What is your real relatuionship with him?? Relatove or something? I figured you were just some clown who plays Madden all day and pretends he knows everything about QB play?

When the Fins win its bc of Tannehill(I have said on some threads we won even though he wasn't good, and got killed for it)
Wehen we lose its the O-line, ruinning game, game plan, coach, defense, Wallace, drops....
Yesterday the biggest reason was inept and uninspired soft QB play!
Would Andrew Luck ever ever even think of sliding a yard shprt of a first down on a late in game 3rd down with the playoffs on the line????? Never

take another look and see if wallace falls down coming out of his break on the play...otherwise first down...

Another excuse. The ball was thrown way to far inside. but must have been the turfs fault there. The comebacks to Hartline he missed by 15 yards sailing OB those must have been the wind. The picks on high throws over the middle, must have been on the receivers!!
The two missed TD to Wallace must have been his fault, one he should have come back through the WR and got the ball, the other he must have slowed down!

Your sig should be Ryan Tannehill...Like a QB who would have been drafter in the 2nd round if we didn't have Sherman!

When your OL sucks, you don't need to respect the deep ball

Damn straight. Tannehill ****ing sucks.

Thats why Sherman looks bad. Ive been telling you guys all year. Get a real QB and that system works just fine.

Defenses simply DO NOT fear being beaten by Tannehill. So they crowd everything and shut us down. All it would take is Tannehill burning them a few times deep and **** would open up for us.

Teams squat on comebacks and curls because thats all Tannehill can throw with any consistency.

You really have no idea what you are talking about. The Dolphin receivers are never open. Tannehill throws 35 passes a game into blanketed coverage. Wallace wouldn't fight for a pass if his life depended on it. The game plans don't change, ever. We have a QB that is one of the best in the league at throwing on the run and we NEVER use that skill. That is on the coaches.

sucky game plans
no adjustments
sucky OL
sucky running game
receivers that cannot get open

but, sure, its all on the QB....
