no i didn't, actually. i already knew that some players don't put any effort into these things because they know that no teams care how they perform.

I don't necessarily agree with that. For the players like VY and Chad Jackson that didn't participate in any all-star bowls or the senior bowl they'll take any positive exposure they can get.
