All time best Running BAck!!!

i think these 2 were star calibers althogh Gale had a short career cuz of injuries did u ever see this guy run. Barry Sanders once had said that Gale was the best he ever sawww!!!!!!
Ive seen sayers and although he was great for his era Im not sure he could have played in this era. Also you need to consider that he couldnt sustain his career and that his stats are partially inflated due to the lack of passing during that era. You can apply that to brown as well but Brown was a far more punishing runner whos style could probably translate into any era.

Its a movie about Brian Picalo with Gale Sayers in it as a rookie. A very good movie.

I just looked it up, are you talking about the 1971 or the 2001 release? Also, were you refering to me in your original post on the matter? Since I haven't seen the movie, I can say that I haven't seen it too much.

If you have seen both which release would you suggest I see? Thank you in advance. :)

Walter Payton gets my vote for best in the modern era. Gale Sayers was great, but I rank Jim Brown next.

Thanks a ton. I will add that to my list of must see movies. Thank you.

I grew up watching the "Juice and the electric company" 2003 yards in 14 games!!! WOW!!

without a doubt Jim Brown is the greatest, even Barry Sanders Dad says so..

I also enjoyed watching Eric Dickerson

I definitely agree that Dickerson was a lot of fun to watch. He, barry, and RW were really my favorite Rbs to watch.

barry sanders and bo jackson are the best running backs i have EVER seen!!!

Barry Sanders would be my choice.

I have to say, I would not mind having that resume.

Jim Brown

9 years in league

9 Pro Bowls

8 Rushing Titles

126 TD's (106 Rushing, 20 Recieving)

All the others are great but as another posted earlier this guy was a man among boys. He was Tiger Woods in his Prime 9 straight years then retired and left on top still. In my opinion everyone else is just playing for 2nd..
