An Excellent Article that Gives Insight Into Tanneyhills Troubles and D's Problems

Once hartline wins inside early on the in cut it is the correct decision...had he gotten held up or the db beat him inside he comes off it to miller before the wide unaccounted for rusher can get there...people knock the qb for things that aren't even wrong in the first place...damn

thank you, that was the meaning of mine. I understand the frustration of the QB play but to pick on that play shows a lack of football knowledge

They just don't understand the qbs keys what he's reading etc when it comes to coverage and if he sees certain things he lets fly

That was 3rd and 5 as I recall...we punted but that's not on the qb at all

I understand on the quick slants that they have to be thrown immediately, and if he sees what he's looking for, he throws it before the play can further develop.

But given how little success we're having on the slants and the fact that on at least two plays in that game where he did throw them, he had another guy open... it's definitely frustrating.

It may be frustrating but it's correct decision...he sees the blitz that's why he looks to the slant In the first place...no doubt in my mind given the blitz he would have gone to miller next had the slant been taken away...he understands for what I've seen when teams have an unaccounted for rusher...let's at least give him that much
 
Let me put it this way.

Chad henne has a better qb rating than tannehill. Yup... He's the future.

tannehill is in the first year of a new system. all things are not equal give him time

It is, especially when there`s GIF right in front of you showing that play on infinite repeat, that would have been a huge gain. But Im not blaming tannehill for going to his first read, its an all out blitz if you know you can get the ball to your first read for a 1st down, then by all means let it rip. It should have been a first down, the WR dropped the pass.... Hell its looking like that kind of season...
