People keep saying this and Herbert had one of the lowest rated offensive lines last year.

Here's the other issue. With QB's like Burrow, Herbert, and Allen you can actually move the pocket. We cannot do that because Tua is incredibly poor on the run. Like awful.

Having the worst offensive line obviously would make his job more difficult, and his performance would suffer.

Would it suffer to such degree that we'd still be sitting here saying we chose wrong? I highly doubt it.

The debate is over. Herbert is better, by a long shot. Herbert’s so good, if he were here, he would get all these coaches fired for not optimizing his skills. Tua doesn’t have it. I’m sorry. Mac Jones is better lol.

I’d love a chance to find out. But the OP’s premise is silly to me. We had no shot a Joey Football so I won’t discuss that possibility because I don’t care. Herbert put up historic numbers last year behind a terrible offensive line with even worse coaching than what we are blessed with in Miami.
