made some changes to Gladsadmad's logo
i would use this logo with the 80s style uniforms, you would get the best of both worlds new logo and sick throwbacks
I know you like this logo Skape but that thing looks like something you'd find hung up behind the desk at a Disney theme resort.

Nice try but now the Dolphin looks like he was run over by speedboat.
At least you would find it in a Disney resort and not a Disney MOVIE like the current one!![]()

The underlined and bold text is a ridiculous statement. Here are a list of teams that still have equipment in their logo (it's a pretty big list, so click on the spoiler button to see the list):I like these suggestions:
#1. Get rid of the helmet on the Dolphin. This is a sports design trend that should have stayed in the 60s. Modern sports teams have largely abandoned the tradition of incorporating sports equipment in their logos, for good reason. The Dolphin wearing a helmet with its stupid grin makes it look like it belongs in a 3rd rate Disney movie, not a football field.
#2. Get rid of the anthropomorphic cartoon Dolphin. The classic logo didn't look like a cartoon. We need a Dolphin that doesn't look like its ready to debut on Saturday Morning Cartoons. I personally like the dolphin in the old Dolphins Stadium logo (http://nysportsjournalism.squarespace.com/storage/DolphinStadLogo.gif) but I realize that may be a drastic change for many to accept.
#3. Go back to AQUA! The Dolphins in their heyday wore Aqua and Coral, not Teal and Orange. The teal is ugly. Go look back at classic photos of Marino in the 80s. That aqua jersey was sharp!
#4. Get rid of the drop shadow on the numbers. Its distracting and ugly. The numbers on the classic jerseys look clean and fresh.
The glitter was nauseating and the blue collar was ugly. I think Nike is going in the right direction.
The matte finish on our jerseys will look so much nicer on television and photos.
The underlined and bold text is a ridiculous statement. Here are a list of teams that still have equipment in their logo (it's a pretty big list, so click on the spoiler button to see the list):
NFL
Miami Dolphins
Oakland Raiders
New York Jets
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Cleveland Browns (it's a damned helmet!)
NBA
Atlanta Hawks
Boston Celtics
Cleveland Cavilers
Dallas Maverick
Detroit Pistons
Indiana Pacers
LA Clippers
LA Lakers
Miami Heat
New Jersey Nets
New Orleans Hornets
New York Knicks
Oklahoma City Thunder
Orlando Magic
Philadelphia 76ers
Phoenix Suns
Sacramento Kings
Toronto Raptors
Utah Jazz
Washington Wizards
MLB
Minnesota Twins
New York Yankees
Tampa Bay Rays
Texas Rangers
Toronto Blue Jays
Colorado Rockies
LA Dodgers
Milwaukee Brewers
New York Mets
Philadelphia Phillies
Pittsburgh Pirates
San Francisco Giants
St. Louis Cardinals
NHL
Colorado Avalanche
New York Islanders
Pittsburgh Penguins
San Jose Sharks
Washington Capitals
And that is a list of their main logos. That is not including any type of alternate logo for each team, or unlisted teams alternate logos. So having the helmet on the Dolphins is not that out dated.
Now that is sweet looking....can you do this logo with a navy helmet...I think that would be bad ass!
