Im not ashamed to be a fin fan. Im ashamed ownership has been so poor for so many years that they let a subpar product go on the field .

I will always be proud to be a Fin Fan.

I think, if nothing else, this gives us a chip on our shoulder.

whatever team you root for you should always be proud, there may be bad moments but those moments make the good ones even better.

Not exactly proud to be a Fins fan. But, I am a Fins fan and I cannot change it.
Always have been always will be a Fins fan. Even if they are a joke of a franchise (like now)

Nothing like living in the past.Try looking forward, not back...

What a blind homer ignorant post.
How do you judge the Fins by what they have done. It isn't looking back. You don't evaluate a franchise by what someone thinks they may do in the future. I bet you think we will win the super bowl next year LOL

Of course I'm still proud to be a Dolphins fan. I am disappointed in my team, but pride does not wane even through hardship. If you only support your team when the are winning, then go post in some other forum please.

1) nobody is good every year. When Brady retires you will see a similar thing from NE. Indy was a lucky team that the best QB happen to come out as they were replacing theirs.
2) idk that story so no opinion
3) Brees has said he chose NO because he wanted to help revive the city after Katrina
4) Nick Saban prefers the college game and if that wasnt true he would be back in the nfl by now
5) Ya that was a down note for sure
6) Everybody is critical of a GM when he can find a problem in a guy that appears 2 or 3 years down the road but are just as critical when he asks tough questions
7) Same as #2
8) Same as #2,7
9)Manning was never gonna go to a division where he knew there would be top notch competition. He was in Indy when ther were the only good team every year. He went to Denver so he could rule that division too. He wanted nothing to do with having to play Brady twice a year.
10) Owner liked the coah and GM's like their own coach, See the jets last year. It was the same situation
11) Way overblown then it should be. One 30 year old guy hurt a 25 year old guys feeling... Really?
12) Same as #2,7,8

So yes i am pround to be a Phin Phan!

I do not believe when Brady retires the pats slow down. That team is a system, with one if not the best coach in nfl history, and they win regardless if who is playing what position. Just look at 2008 when they plugged Cassel in for the season, and tell me what Cassel has done since besides be this decades troy Detmer? As for the colts, they were not lucky whatsoever, they threw that season on purpose. No team is going to go from multiple winning seasons to one really bad season and right back to winning again due to one person. They had more talent on that team to win more than 2 games that year, and mysteriously, didn't win a single game until they were clear they wouldn't be bumped for luck. Hell Peyton manning had more growing pains then luck and he has Marvin Harrison and Edge.

I had to vote no.....when someone asks me who my favorite team is I feel ashamed to say Miami, I will root for them, watch them every Sunday and follow every move over the summer but I am at this time not proud to say I am a Miami Dolphin fan....we as a franchise are getting real close to were the Saints were when the fans had bags on their heads as they watched the game...we are right there with the Browns and Raiders...at least the Raiders have had some success this decade.....we need to make the playoffs and get this monkey off our backs, the off the field stuff and not controlling the locker room has made us a laughing stock....our old GM asking crack whore questions and an owner flying cross country on a job search for a position not open, too our HC getting his panties in bunch over an interview that didn't kiss his ass to the GM search that had more candidates drop out not wanting the job than actually completing the interview process, too putting Richie in a leadership position.....when does it end?

That was the only Year the Pats didn't make the playoffs since Brady became the starter....if they don't find a great QB they won't be in every Championship game, they will be good and competitive but they won't have the run that Brady had.....

Just some of what this kid has accomplished,

In Brady's eleven seasons as a starter, the Patriots have earned five trips to the Super Bowl, winning three. He has also won two Super Bowl MVP awards, has been selected to nine Pro Bowls, and formerly held the NFL record for the most touchdown passes in a single regular season. His career postseason record is 18–8; his playoff win total is the highest in NFL history. He also helped set the record for the longest consecutive win streak in NFL history with 21 straight wins over two seasons (2003–2004), and in 2007 he led the Patriots to the first undefeated regular season since the institution of the 16-game schedule. Brady has the sixth highest career passer rating of all time (95.7) among quarterbacks with at least 1,500 career passing attempts. In 2012, Brady became the first quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to 10 division titles

I agree, my point was more be proud to wear a shirt or a hat. I understand not taking pride in what has gone on off the field in recent times.

They went 11-5 that year and we had a cake schedule and a prime chad pennington, only reason they didn't make it.

For those that say they are "proud" does it matter to you if the team wins or loses?
Do you care what kind of guys are on the roster, character wise?

Im just asking.

How can someone be proud of a team that hasn't won a playoff game since Lamar Smith in Indy?
How can someone be proud of a team that lays down 2 weeks straight with the playoffs on the line?
How can someone be proud of a team run by a buffoon who had to settle for his 7th choice at GM?
The one team where this locker room drama would leak to the press?
A HC that is not even close to a leader of men?
a Pro Bowl Center running guns and a drug emporium?
A diva WR who can catch spouting off about how many TDs he will catch?

I absolutely Love my Dolphins, and support them no matter what. But, why be proud of a dumpster fire?
To me, proud is a word used for a feeling of accomplishment, not failure.
So, ya there are some things to be proud of: The toughness of the overrated QB. The guys taking full advantage of chances like Clay, Matthews etc. The stuff some do in the community. But, as a whole this franchise is a notch above Cleveland and on par with Detroit

Ok then, forget the past.
So you are proud of the present?
There is no point in being proud of the future, since you have no idea what will happen.
I have a friend that is always proud and blabbing about what he is "going to do". I always think, he should do it first and then be proud.

The thread is on pride and being proud.
