11) Way overblown then it should be. One 30 year old guy hurt a 25 year old guys feeling... Really?

Hurricane Katrina had nothing to do with Bree's not being in Miami. The Dolphins picked Culpepper long before Katrina.

I think based on what I saw he sucked. Same as last year where he chokes in big moments ALOT, as we saw even this year playing against him when Tannehill out played him
 
Rookie years

Matt Ryan: 265 for 434 - 3,440 yards - 16 TDs 11 INTs - 61.1% completion - 7.9 Y/A - 17 sacks - 87.7 rating
Ryan Tann: 282 for 484 - 3,294 yards - 12 TDs 13 INTs - 58.3% completion - 6.8 Y/A - 35 sacks - 76.1 rating

Keep in mind Tannehill had **** WRs to throw to all year. I'm not saying he's better than Matt Ryan is but to look at these numbers and not think they're pretty similar would be unfair.

Atlanta went 11-5 in Matt Ryan's first year. If he has similar numbers to Tannehill yet he won 4 more regular season games, what does this mean? Atlanta was a better overall team in 2008 than Miami was in 2012.
 
The quarterback is the single most important position on a football team......but it is still a team game.

Both San Fran and Seattle had much much more complete football teams than Miami the past two years.

Had Ireland done a better job on the O-line the past few years and specifically last year....I suspect we wouldn't be debating what we are debating.

Ireland had the chance to solidfy the left tackle position and failed to either resign Jake Long or utilize the 2nd rounder he gave away in the tradeup for Jordan for Branden Albert he failed in both cases, which can be argued led to the Martin/Incog problems (I say this because the blowup occured right after Martin was moved back to right tackle due to bad play)
 
We know there are 32 teams in the NFL. So, all things being equal, which they aren't, but if they were, you'd have a mathematical chance at maybe 2 Super Bowl wins in your lifetime. That means year after year there is going to be disappointment to some degree. We've had our share lately, no doubt. But, it could be much, much worse.

Teams that have NEVER won a Super Bowl include:

The Buffalo Bills
The Detroit Lions
The Carolina Panthers
The Atlanta Falcons
The Jacksonville Jaguars
The Houston Texans
The Cleveland Browns
The Arizona Cardinals
The San Diego Chargers
The Minnesota Vikings

That's 31% of the league. So cry all you want about our recent struggles. The team's inception was 1966. Simply going by the law of averages we're still ahead of the game. '72 & '73 NFL Champions!!! AFC Champions '71, '72, 73, '82, & '84!!!

Be proud! Screw the haters!

Not sure why that's something you're pointing out but I listed their rookie years just now. Please enlighten us with your Big Bang Theory numbers now to say I'm wrong.

While it's true that his clutch play decreased this year, his clutch play in years prior was among the best in the league every year he's played. I can support that with objective evidence if you're interested; if not, that's fine too.

Why wouldn't my mind be made up? Logic to me means I have an opinion, I look up stats that verify said opinion, and then I post them here. I don't need you to assist me in my views.
 
If you don't like it there are 31 other teams to follow.

In the context of comparing Matt Ryan to Ryan Tannehill, I'm not sure we should be addressing one's clutch play in a Conference Championship game, while the other can't even post a 50 QB rating in two games on which a simple playoff berth hinged.
 
I love the Fins, but 2K has not been kind to us fin fans. There's not a lot right now to be proud of, but I got mad love and undying support for our team. Win or lose I can't get enough of my first and longest love of my life. Winning will cure things, consistent winning seasons and playoff wins and the drop in pride will become a distant memory. I sport my team apparel all the time with great pride.
 
I am a lifelong Dolphin fan, I voted yes I am still proud. I am disappointed in what has transpired but that doesn't diminish my pride. I know everyone comes to being a fan of a team in different ways, I don't think it matters, however for me I was born in Miami and am a fan of the sport, the Dolphins represent my hometown, call it regional pride. Not rooting for the Dolphins IMO opinion would be like a Brazilian cheering for Germany in the world cup.
