I never said I want or am wishing for a losing season. I want the SB again.

Therefore, I am wondering if the greatest chance for that to occur is another year of top draft picks.

What it really comes down to is this....

As a FAN of the Dolphins, "I" dont think we have the QB or O-Line play necessary to produce results on the field that we all want and had come to expect in the past. Therefore, I am prepared for a less than expected winning record. I dont think the talent is there yet.

What I would accept if thats the case, is back to back years of a top 3 draft pick selections (per round) to improve this team and get our swagger back. If thats what it takes I am all for it.

Make sense?

O-line just needs experience. They have many young players and will only get better. Many of the best O-lines in the NFL are made up of veterans who have played together for several yrs.

Just because you have a top three pick in the draft, doesn't mean a quarterback will turn out. I want the wins for the organization, and the fans! We will most likely use where we pick in the first round to draft a quarterback. There have been quarterbacks that weren't even drafted in teh first round, and yes there have been huge busts inside the top three, aka Ryan Leaf! This team will come together, we just have to play the best we can now, and increase the talent on this team in the next two years!:beerbang:

With the number of potential franchise LTs in the draft next year, I'll be surprised if this team doesn't go that way.

you don't play the game, to lose. never in my life have i heard a pre game speech say "alright, we're not good enough to win, we don't have the talent, we need to go out there and lose." You don't play, to lose. its as simple as that.

I can't stand a loosing mentality. Every game, every play, every second players and coaches should give it their all.

I don't know if I would say SB or bust but definately 8 - 8 or bust.

you mean sandbag? That is unethical! Because thats the only way we would lose 12 games! We will win at least 8-10!

You could be right Jimmy James. It all depends on what Nick and the coaches feel is the biggest need, and if there is depth at those positions, then he could go LT if not quarterback. I think what is going to help Nick, and his staff, is that they will have one year under there belts, and will know what they want to persue once the season is over.

This team will play to win, and they will learn as a team to become better winners in the future! Championship caliber teams take a little patience, and molding of individual talents!
