Assistant Coach Hire

Hopefully they spoke to some of the defensive players who could have provided input on what was transpiring on the defensive side of the ball. I’m sure Coach McDaniel looked into that but we’ll see

Our guys know the system, and we have a few that can play. Boyer has the advantage. He has a year to show he is the guy and can get it done. 🤞
Exactly. If the defense doesn’t play well next year, McDaniel will simply bring in a new DC for the 2023 season. Yet keeping Boyer and most of the defensive coaches makes it easier for the players on defense to transition to a new head coach.

Once again it is going to be the offensive players and specially Tua who will be learning a new offense. This will be Tua’s third new offense in his three years in the league and the 4th new offensive system the Dolphins will play in the past 4 years.

The players certainly know what changes occurred the second half of the season. So would the coaches and probably Grier. Have to believe McD was made aware. We can agree or disagree, but we don’t have all of the info to fully evaluate. We’ll just have to see how it plays out. Hopefully well for Miami.
