This part is very interesting:
### A few people who were in contact with Ireland this past season spoke last week about how frustrated he was with decisions made by his coaching staff about playing time. One agent said Ireland would tell him something about his client and the coaching staff would then tell the player the opposite.

Jackson left out Jace Amaro. I like Ebron better, but Amaron is that big catch radius guy the Fins could use. Plus, not "sexy", but they could go guard at 19 Zach Martin. Martin might be the safest pick of the draft IMO. Plus, you cannot go wrong at CB. Based on next year's sked, they better have enough talent at CB or the team could be in a ton of trouble.
Miami will be fine at 19.

Not to mention Jernigan was playing his butt off disrupting the line of scrimmage most of the game, he's a great player! So silly of you. FSU had had a long layoff and hadn't had to play a game into the fourth quarter all season. You're really going to let one quarter override what you've been seeing out of the guy for two years? Pfft. For some reason it's seen as more valid to ding a great player for a mediocre bowl game than it is to elevate a mediocre player that had a great bowl game. The reality though is that it's the same thing.
It's not like this doesn't happen to great players. It was a common theme on National Championship night but Warren Sapp ended up sucking wind on the sideline one game against Nebraska in the mid 90s. Just totally spent. That was a dominant team, too. Ray Lewis, et all. Even the great players have a tendency to let their foot off the gas when they're surrounded by other great players and pounding people into dust every week. Then when they face a true challenge they're not always up to it. That doesn't happen in the NFL, where every week is a challenge.
Not that I think Jernigan should be the pick. I'm just saying, it's poor reasoning you're engaging in here.
What I want to know is why is Ireland even talking to agents about playing time? He should have zero input on that. That is the head coach and his staff's decision to make.
Also no mention of Richardson at #19 for G is a total fail.
