Biggest Issue on Defense - Slot corner (Bobby McCain)

I just re-watched the game and the cardinals scored the last 2 TD's and the 2 pt conversion on who else... Bobby McCain. This guy is terrible in the slot and already cost us many many games.

Why is he still a starter even over Lafayette Pitts? We have to upgrade that slot CB early in the draft because it is a wide open (literally) weakness.

Gimme Corn Elder in the draft (supplemental 3rd) or Captain Munnerlyn in FA. I'm not of the opinion that we need a boundary CB.

Definitely a need for the upcoming offseason. McCain has been dreadful.

So basically, DE, two LBs, slot CB should be priorities on defense.

OLB and depth would disagree with OP... McCain is very inconsistent and shouldn't be a starting nickel back... But he isn't the biggest issue on defense. He certainly is someone we'd all love to upgrade from though.
