Biggest SCREW JOB I've ever seen

No bubble. 3rd time I've said it, the Dolphins suck. If the game played out the same way, but the Dolphins won because the Patriots didn't get free points, I would feel the same way about the Dolphins prospects as I do now.

But the fact of the matter is NOT that the Dolphins sucked worse. The Patriots sucked worse today. They are a better team, but today they played worse. You know how I know? Because if the refs didn't give them those free points, they would've scored less than the Dolphins did, i.e. lost. The Dolphins may not be the better team, but the better team doesn't always win in the NFL.

The Dolphins didn't play good enough the entire game to win. Maybe if the game of football was two quarters rather than two halves. To me, 17 points and 0 in the second half won't cut it on ANY day. I guess you and I will just agree to disagree

The Dolphins didn't have 7 referees on their side to cover up their mistakes. You must be a Patriot fan. How can you say the Patriots played better than the Dolphins? The FACT is that without the referees, Miami's defense beat the Patriots. When your mistakes are magically turned into scores, THAT is why you win the game.

Your Patriots were saved today by the NFL (and its refs). Question is, do the Patriot's referees travel? When we play them again down in Miami they may not have the seven thieves officiating the game.

Ridiculous.

The thing is, we seem to be arguing two different things. You seem to be arguing that the Dolphins should be held to a certain standard and that nothing else matters. I don't dispute that from a fan's perspective.

I am simply disputing the notion that the refs did not change the outcome of this game. Maybe 17 points in the first half and zero in the second won't cut it 9 times out of 10, but today it would have.

Yep. I'm a patriots fan because we allowed 5 sacks. Im a patriots fan because our quarterback gets sneezed on and fumbles. I'm a patriots fan because our quarterback can't throw a deep ball to save his life. I'm a patriots fan because our coaching staff can't make halftime adjustments and scored 0 points in the second half. That's me, Mr. Patriots fan.

I'm waiting for the next set of excuses for when we get our @$$3$ handed to us...

any qb is gonna fumble on the hit tannehill fumbled on today...so dont give me this he got sneezed on and fumbled bs.

Is that all you got? Please, the guy has a terrible fumbling problem.

Who's to say it would've cut it? Neither you or I have a magic crystal ball...there's no telling what would've happened

I'm on the edge of quitting the NFL.

Probably just the booze talking, but still ...

what do u mean is that all i got? i made a valid point

You gave yourself away when you said the Patriots sucked less than the Dolphins today. Anybody who actually watched the game knows that's simply not the case. There's a difference between making excuses and ignoring the rules for one team. The Patriots were awful for 4 quarters. The Dolphins were awful for 2. It's hard enough to win in the NFL as it is. When you have to beat your opponent and the referees, it makes it even harder. The Tuck rule, the snowplow, spygate, the phantom penalties today. The Patriots coming back to the pack and it's going to be harder and harder for the NFL to cover for their shortcomings as the season continues.

The fact of the matter is...we STILL LOST. I don't hear any excuses being made by the players. This isn't some vast conspiracy. You take care of business and you win, it's a simple concept actually. Bottom line is that we didn't take care of business. Our halftime adjustments sucked, blocking schemes sucked, two minute drill sucked. But hey, if me being a realist is me being a patriots fan then I guess I should move up north to Boston

Incredible how everyone just gives excuse after excuse to make it ok in their brain that we lost. We've been getting screwed for years. It will just continue to happen. This team needs to find ways to win the games even after bad calls.

The officiating was rigged but I'm not mad at the officiating. This team straight up blows. It is what it is.

I don't really have anything against Steve Ross, but sell the ****ing team already. Move on. You've mad bad decisions, just cut bait and move on.

Tannehill he has a ball security problem? Agree or disagree?

My point exactly! Glad I'm not the only crazy one in this thread

to a certain degree i would say yes he does have ball security issues, but ones like todays any qb in the league is going to fumble in that situation he was moving his arm to throw.

Now see that's a cop out. Of course anything could happen. Maybe a butterfly would've flapped its wings in front of Tannehill's facemask, obstructing his vision and causing a pick six. But the reality of the game was that the Patriots did not score more than 17 points without assistance from the referees' calls.
