Bill Cowher is the only logical choice

If we're so dumb as to fire our coach because the players are ****ing up....I hope they aren't dumb enough to hire a guy like Cowher or Gruden...keep in mind, no coach that has won a super bowl with one franchise has ever done it with a second...and there's a reason for that, alot of these guys lose the fire and the drive, especially when they get huge multi million dollar deals...

I say we keep Sparano, but if we are stupid enough to go for another coach, we get a qualified young and hungry coach

dude !!!!!! serious ? theres noway your a real dolphin fan ? please go away troll.

i said "keep in mind, no coach that has won a super bowl with one franchise, has ever done it with a second"

It is a FACT.

And there is logic behind it...it's people like you that get people like Cowher hired, by dumb owners because you want a "NAME". Well I'll let you in on a secret, if we hire Cowher, or Gruden or any of those idiots we're going to be taking 10 steps back.

Not to mention Cowher is overrated. The guy benefited from the Steelers "organization" because they believe in CONTINUITY. He was there for years even after having a couple disappointing seasons. If he did that here you guys would be calling for his head right away. Because you have no foresight, or perspective on what it takes to be SUCCESSFUL in the NFL.
It's hard to believe that so many Miami fans, start calling for a coaches head, once the team starts losing .. As I remember; Cameron was the overwhelming fan choice to become Miami's coach .. and so was Saban ... and look what happened, the FANS turned on both of them!!! I'm not saying that both Saban and Cameron should have been retained ... But we need to realize the best coach may not be the popular choice or the FANS choice ... sometimes teams test the patients of the fans, and perhaps the will of the fans? I know I'm at the end of the rope myself rooting for Sparano .. I believe the time has come to end his coaching tenure in Miami .. as far as; who the next coach should be, I have no clue!!! But will root just as hard for the Dolphins no matter who is hired!!! I guess i got accustomed to the Shula ways and all the winning seasons ... Losing like this, especially when there is talent on the team, kills me inside!!!

If Bill Cowher has that same intensity, there is NO coach I would rather have. I want my coach to care they way he cared when with the Steelers. I want him to stare down players who arent performing the way he stares in your avatar. Can you imagine being a rookie comming off the field after a big mistake and seeing that look? I would sh@t my pants!
thats why he gets results and why he is the coach we need to lite a fire under our players *****

I think the Dolphins have a good coach and a good QB, I think the team needs to start making plays....everyone always wants to blame the coach and QB, but I really don't think either is our problem from what I've seen

I shudder to think who you would consider to be a bad coach. Lemme guess, Cam Cameron was above average, right?

Same team as it was last season for the most part. We added a center that was badly needed and a playmaker in Reggie Bush.

Same results. I mean, if that's not coaching...

Is the coach out there dropping touchdown passes, missing balls that should easily be broken up? Fumbling the football?

We have gone into every game with a gameplan that we could've won with (save for the defensive gameplan during the Pats game) We've lost our games because the PLAYers aren't making PLAYs. We're not woefully unprepared, we just aren't executing.

I don't follow your logic. How is it Sparano's fault that all of a sudden the defense he helped put together that was ranked 6th in the league last year all of a sudden can't stop anyone?? How is that coaching?

The team looks like it's playing with no fire? no heart? like they are going through the motions .. this vaunted defense and it's star inside linebackers still can't cover TE's and CB - Sean Smith still can't make plays!!! to me that is lack of coaching!!!

it is up to the coach to get his players ready to play
if they dont execute it falls back on the coach
and ireland who decided to bring them here..

cower, gruden, ryan, are all big upgrades over sparano

I'm blaming defensive struggles on the lockout. Scoring is thru the roof across the entire league. Every defense is bad damn near. Coincidence? Hardly.

Offensively everyone blamed Dan Henning last season. Well, he's gone. Same old **** offesnively. Chad Henne has improved some but I still see a lot of the same ol' Chad at times. Chad is a good, not great QB. He's less than Tony Romo and I've always said the Cowboys will never win anything with Tony Romo. And we'll never win anything with Chad Henne. Clock management, settling for field goals...that's all falling at the feet of Tony Sparano.

ill answer that. because he has done lost the TEAM for what ever reason the players said there behind sparano BUT i just dont see it and when he comes on in his interview and tells the media that he hasnt got a answer for how there playing then theres something bad wrong with the coaching ,you never say something like that even if you dont have a clue.

and you know what... as much as I don't want to admit it... I agree. Our offense isn't bad because of Henne, but he's not great. He's getting better with decision making from 20 to 20 and he's making more plays downfield, but now that I think about it, he doesn't put the throws where they need to be in the red zone, and he does still struggle with timing patterns.

the offense is better, if the defense was playing up to last year's level we'd be 3-0
