Bills are a nightmare matchup for Miami

I do not see Buff as a nightmare matchup. I see them as a maybe average team with a bad QB, who won 6 games last year, and will be hard pressed to do the same this year.

Last year, Tannehill had 4 bad games, Saints, Jets, and 2 vs the Bills. Why is anyone's guess, as he was under pressure all year long, and not just against Buff. I do not believe he will have another vs the Bills this Sunday, see Miami winning by at least 7, and am betting the same. JMO

Quite the nightmare for you last year.

Spikes is bad against the pass and good against the run.

The Bills try to take him out on obvious pass plays.

Either way, he won't be guarding Clay.
That's what you think. If there's a Lazor, there's a way. And don't think you'll be able to get him off the field easily...we could go hurry up and keep him on the field and continue to attack him in the passing game.

Neither Marshall or Jeffrey led the Bears in receiving if that tells you anything.

Matt Forte did.

That is a good performance for your defense, but it really does not give me enough information to compare it to our offense. Lazor spreads the field and attacks the defense vertically to make space. I am sure there will be more chips and other adjustments to slow down your pass rush, but I believe there will be more route combinations from our offense.

Lazor challenges defenses by making them think. We hope the offense creates mental mistakes and blown assignments. I wish I had seen your game against Chicago; so that, I could be more specific. Even if we fail to score enough points, I believe you will be surprised when you watch this offense.

Wow, you guys really think this OC is the best thing since sliced bread huh?

I agree about the hurry up. That could really hurt us.

In the way WE played in game #2, as well as the Jets, and to a lessor degree in game #1, NOT who we played.

Oh it has nothing to do with the opponent. Gotcha.

Not vs the Bills. In game #1, Tannehill had 3 turnovers, hard to beat anyone doing that, and we lost by 2. In game #2, we played so bad that a top college team might have beaten us. The nightmares was in our play, not yours.

EJ Manuel is there QB. He's not as good as people think...

Who thinks he's good?

Eekta.

I do think he's as good as Thad Lewis though.

Oh ... you guys were just setting the ball on the ground gently and telling us to pick it up. We didn't force the turnover. Gotcha.

So i'm guessing that you didn't really beat NE... they beat themselves - right? Brady just kinda laid down and let you touch him for the sack.

The Bills secondary managed to cover Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery well enough to win despite missing starting CB Stephon Gilmore. Cutler/Marshall/Jeffery >>> Tannehill/Wallace/Hartline et al. Chicago had the NFL's 2nd best offense behind Denver last year, and they're expected to about as good this year. The Bears' issues last season were all on the defensive side.

The fact that you are mentioning two receivers instead of 5 options for every play means you do not understand the new offense. If RT ever locks in on a receiver, he is making a huge mistake. Last year it was a mistake, but it cannot happen in this multiple threat offense. I am not concerned about open receivers, backs, or tight ends. I am more concerned that RTs play speed is still not quick enough. I am concerned about ball location.

Don't just take our word for it...ask Belicheat. The Defensive Genius Mastermind (gag) himself couldn't do anything about it. Besides the turnovers, we moved the ball on them all day like they were a driving range.

.

You have to realize that we had to suffer through the absolute stupidity of Sherman's offense. Any offense that uses concepts that work will look like absolute genius. Add to that the fact it is rare for us to see less than two open receivers on each play. The fact that every play attempts to create matchups to the offenses advantage. We are little bit gidy after suffering through Sherman's offense.

I should add that I am very impressed with Lazor's game plan for the Patriots. We will have to see if he continues to deliver good game plans.

Wanna talk about the Pats or the Bills? :)

You forced a fumble, good job. You ran 30 times for 90 yards and a TD. We ran 25 times for 120. No nightmare from you. You threw for 178 and no TD's. We threw for 173 and 3 TD's. No nightmare from you. You got a pick six from RT, and a second pick. Nightmare from us and not by you. They were not good, let alone great plays.

All we have to do is to play average to win.

If you watched Chicago at all last year you'd know that the 2nd best offense looked and played a whole heck of a lot better when McCown was the starting QB for them and not Cutler. Also, Chicago was 8th in yards last year not 2nd..they were 2nd in scoring but that's because their defense sucked and they got in a lot of shootouts. They're defense, by the way, was ranked 30th and gave up 29.9 ppg. Good for a tie for 2nd to last place in the league with Washington.

So yeah...good job holding them under their 27.8 scoring average of last year (incidentally they averaged 29.5 with McCown as starter, 26.8 with Cutler) but bad job by your offense only scoring 20 in regulation against an awful defense.

I watched a condensed version of the bills game last week. They run a lot of 3 wr sets and bunch formations as well. They love to run out of them. So Miami will have to watch for that.

Chicago exposed that the Bills are vulnerable to the screens and flat routes, which can be run effectively if your Miami.

As I see it Chicago lost the game last week by trying to throw Deep all the time, allowing Cutler to hit and Miss. Even in OT instead of trying to grind it down the field with short passes and runs
they tried to go Deep. Hugh mistake... every time they were patient Buffalo couldn't stop them it was only when they got greedy that they stopped themselves.
And where was Mario Williams last week? HE only had one sack, big deal.

Also Miami should note that Buffalo is not exactly injury free either.
Their secondary is banged up.
