Blount is a FA we should go after,,,,

He's got 4 Tds and almost 150 yds, with still a half a quarter left.. I think he's pretty good

OK blount is the answer

far be it from me to want to upgrade positions on our team. You disagree that Blount is a better producer than Thomas/Miller?

No it's world class just like the colts run defense.

Also, I can't wait for thomas to hit the road.

I'm just messing around with ya. I too cannot wait for Thomas to leave. I do think it's hard to find a quality power back, he's looked the part as of late.

It's his last name that gives people perception of wrongdoing.

His 4 TDs would disagree with you

That's not exactly what I'd call a thorough personnel evaluation.

Signing LeGarrette Blount is buying high on a straight ahead plodder without much lateral wiggle. He reminds me a lot of Peyton Hilis, actually. Similar skill sets. You guys really must not be watching the same game I'm watching, where Blount is feasting on wide open running lanes where he isn't even being touched until he gets to the second level. A back like him is always going to thrive when he's given the chance to bully corners and safeties once he has a head of steam. The challenge is getting him there.

If we signed him he'd find a much different kind of sledding trying to dodge tacklers in the backfield. Lots of carries where he takes a few tentative steps toward the line, tries a pitiful juke, and then he goes down timidly. Meanwhile Dolphins fans are mystified he isn't galloping through the secondary.

The story of this game is the New England Patriot offensive line. It's maybe the most underrated unit in the league, even though it features multiple high round picks. With Brady and Belichick around there aren't too many column inches to go around, I guess.

Good points. Also don't know if he'd fit at all with our zone blocking scheme. I can't remember what they ran in TB, but seems he's been mainly running behind power blocking schemes

Umm no. I think it has a lot more to do with him getting suspended for most of his final season of college for sucker punching an opponent

It's that o-line of the pats, they were blocking and making holes as wide as a hookers vag tonight for those RBs.
Not to mention the colts D has given up over 80+ points the past 2 games.

not sure I want Blount but he and Ridley are better than any back we have
