Boston about to replace D.Thompson as 3rd WR

I have to admit, I'm firmly on the Boston Bandwagon. Have been since day one. I can pretty much maintain obectivity when it comes to other players, but I'm really rooting for Boston. It would be a great story and incredibly helpful to the Dolphins if he can re-emerge.

Derrius Thompson should have been evicted one day after the 2004 season ended. It makes me question Saban's personnel evaluation that he's still around. Maybe Nick is a nicer guy and softer touch than we've been led to believe. Or someone in the organization told him he had to keep Thompson around for a while after the NE catch, just like Spielman was kept on the clock for six bonus months because Huizenga liked him personally.

Thompson has even worse instincts and football sense than hands. His routes are a farce. Picking him up was a ridiculous attempt to find an Oronde-type player. I'm 6-3 and know a rew rhymes. Maybe tomorrow I'll be Muhammad Ali.

With a healthy David Boston, we actually have close to three #1 recievers. I think other teams are underestimating how good our offense will be.

Or maybe he's cognizant of how frequently wide receivers go down in training camp.

Making this a criticism of Saban is an almost incomprehensible stretch.

GO BOSTON !
Im all for him being the 2nd WR on this team! Booker as 3rd WR

I just wana see Boston burn LAW and mabye break his leg 2

We just need some consistent run blocking.

Ahhhhh but what good are the bullets to use without a gun?

Chambers, Boston, McMichael, Booker, Welker... Man, if we can get the OLine working together, we could really be a deep threat... We are really very close... And I think we have the coaching staff to do it... I read an article about the Pats saying they have a bunch of "good" players working together... Not just a couple of great players... Looking forward to see what we do Saturday night!

I'm ready to hear that Gilmore passed him as well.
then Welker will surpass Thompson as well if potential has any say.

Well, it's not that I am a big DBo fan, I'm just a big anti-fan of Thompson's...the guy has NEVER come thru in the clutch...when he was needed, he always either didn't get open or dropped the ball (my apologies for the reception against the Pats last year)...but the issue with Boston will always be injury...if he stays healthy and got his head screwed on straight, he's one of the better receivers in the league...

I am so tired of using that dang IF word on virtually every skill player we have...but it's true...

Hey this very well could happen. Gilmore has showned more consistancy and that is something DT lacks.

The only think Derrius has done for this team was the winning TD in the New England game last year.
