Can anyone tell me what happened to Carrie?

I dont suppose that any of the Carrie's (or the Chinese mafia) had anything to do with the site being out of action for all that time?.

Thought this might be interesting in light of some of the discussion earlier in the thread. This was just written today by a very experienced forensic psychologist who's part of a listserv I belong to. I'll keep his identity anonymous since I have no idea whether he'd object to my posting it here:

I am extremely skeptical of people claiming DID, but I believe it exists
based on professional experience of having seen 1 person who I am convinced
had (has) it.

I have probably seen about 8,000 people professionally since starting
graduate school in the late 70s. Of these approximately 8,000 people, about
10 were said by others to have DID.

My opinion is that 1 of these 10 was a "maybe has DID" and the other I was
actually convinced that she did have DID (no pun intended).

In that case, an evaluation of competence to proceed, because I opined
incompetent (based on other results besides dx) this individual was treated
at our state hospital for "restoration" for a time.

Had she been found competent, she would have most likely received a plea
agreement enabling her to leave jail immediately and serve a 2 year
probation sentence (at most). She could even have been offered a deferred
sentence.

After this person was in the state hospital for several months, there were
no reports of her ever drawing attention to her diagnosis, and in fact she
apparently never spontaneously talked about it, although she did present as
a 5 year old child in a very consistent manner most of the time, and
occasionally during times of distress as a somewhat hard-bitten adult, as
well several other alters.

This lady's alleged crime involved using stolen credit cards given her by
her "boyfriend" to purchase children's dolls, while the "boyfriend" would be
elsewhere attempting to buy expensive jewelry and watches with the cards.

"DID" if you remember is "Dissociative Identity Disorder," or what used to be called "Multiple Personality Disorder." It's extremely rare, and much of the field is torn about whether it even exists in the classic sense.

Did (not Shou's DID) the Chinese Mafia make her do it for the dollarz, or didn't Jen, i mean Carrie, i mean icdolphins do it for nout. Wait, the Chinese mafia were on her side so that couldn't have happened. Was there "something about Mary"too. No that was mistaken identity, she was in NY at the time. Jeez, I feel like Mel Gibson in the "Conspiracy Theory". Time to Beemer me up Scotty. I'm the Daddy!
