CB Jaire Alexander getting cut

Trade one malcontent for another? I'd pass...Part of the reason they are done with him is both lack of playing time and demand for money.
Agree. Hard pass. Fins don't need another oft injured veteran looking for big bucks. Fins are not competing for a Super Bowl this year so let's see what we have in the youngsters. No need to add another malcontent.

The bleacher report article has the Bills as the #4 destination, he's already vetoed a trade to go there based on what they wanted him to restructure to, maybe they'll come up on their offer if he's a free agent and they don't have to hand over trade compensation.

Let's see how this plays out brother and what are teams willing to offer him.

This is probably what Grier was waiting for lol. Honestly worth a gamble on a 1-year deal with the inexperience we have at CB currently. But would have to sign two corners if he’s your vet.

If he’s interested in hitting the market one last time at age 29 then I’d think he would be interested in a situation where he would walk into the CB1 role with ZERO competition.

I think he just turned 28. But a one year, incentive laden contract would be the way to go. However, I’m not sure he would go for that. Then again, I’m not sure, with his injury history, if he has another choice. But NFL teams have done dumber stuff before so we will see.

Sign him immediately. Dude is a baller when healthy. Think he's due to stay healthy few years. Hard player. Hopefully we can put together a deal.

You guys are saying the same thing lol. Yes, he'd be free to test the market at 29.

I don't see any team making a reckless multi year offer, and some teams will rule him out completely based on the injury history. It may come down to the best situation and not the best offer, and as someone mentioned above, he'd be walking into an undisputed CB1 job, behind a VG front 7 here, as well as the no income tax thing.

Miami needs to stop being a retirement community team. Too many old guys come to Miami to collect a final pay check before retirement.

That is a major flaw in Miami’s team building strategy and design.

Stop this nonsense already.

Get young UDFA guys and let them show you what they can do. Prove it guys. Not old haggard guys.

I don’t know. This seems exactly like the same oft-injured, vet headcase that Grier falls for every time and then the player misses half the season. No thanks.
